Damn, Minnesota does not go down without a fight. Sam Cassell finished the game with 4 straight three pointers to finish up his 40 points for the night. Talk about clutch. Free throws were the only thing keeping the Kings in the game through the second and third quarters. -

Well, for at least one game, I was right!Kings will need as many road wins as they can get, because Minnesota is a great road team.

Not in the Playoffs. The Kings will win because of depth and experiance. It showed big time tonight, Cassel was the only factor for the Wolves (and he has playoff experiance). Homecourt is now in the Kings favor, and they will take advantage of it. -

How about we discuss that asskicking the Lakers are about to get -

You didn't teach me jack, Iris. All your picks and no upsets? Come on Corky...I taught you better then that...
Anyway, Fatha, as long as we can play for FOUR quarters, we'll beat you. The key is playing for all four quarters. -

Boy Cork, you must be sweating! The Lakers look like the Kings did 3 1/2 weeks ago (remember?, when they were loseing?) The Lakers are in huge trouble! Oh, well good for me; only thing I like more than a Kings win, is a Lakers loss. -

I'd love to retort, but I really don't have anything to go with. And I'm not one to jump on the bandwagon of the other team in my state who's in the playoffs just because my home team is being crushed.
So ha!
(hopes we pull out two in a row, or else this WILL be like 2001... only with the Spurs sweeping everything) -

Im only die-hard spurs fan when they play the Lakers, but I am happy for them when they win the title. Truthfully, I want the Kings to win because they been mistreated in the past couple of years (Really should have been theirs the last two).
Just be sure and tell Gary Payton that he needs to retire after this season -

I'm getting the feeling that the Lakers will be massively overhauled following this season, and unless we make some crazy changes (like trade for McGrady, or do something to that magnitude), we might not even make the playoffs that year (Kobe, Malone, Payton leaving and all).

Kobe is pretty much the only one who matters. Lakers fans can talk about Shaq all they want, and he is needed to draw away defenders, but without Kobe, the Lakers don't win those three championships. I think Payton and Malone are gone after this season. Shaq is already talking about retirement, he's only got a few seasons left. If Kobe leaves too, the Lakers are history unless they get somebody big for him. Seeing how it is LA and all, they'll get another big free agent somewhere along the line. Iverson and McGrady are both looking for new teams... -

Except Iverson's injury prone and more banged up now, and T-Mac... well, I'd take him actually. It'd continue the line of getting stars from Orlando. -

I see a either "Shaq goes or I go" situation developing in LA. Lakers would be absolutely stupid to let Kobe go, they can get other big name people to surround him. Shaq is no longer the threat he once was. Unless he gets into shape (by the way, he was suposedly in shape this season) he has got to go. I could see him being traded for some young talent and possibly some draft pics to a team who would take the risk (New York, Memphis, although the big rumor is Chicago).
