    Lakers in 6
    Indy in 4

Indy vs LA will go 7, who wins is hard to say.

Last night was a nasty wake up call for the Lakers. Unless they can pull their arrogant heads out and keep their cool they're going to go down.

Lakers are so confident Shaq feel's it's okay to start complaining about his contract now.

LOL....game just ended and I must say the Lakers had a lot of help from the refs...sure there were lots of fouls called in the first half, most of which were fouls and good calls, but look at the second half...Shaq had 4 fouls at half time, and guess how many he had at the end of the game....of course...4....refs came through in the end...I mean Lakers...or...whatever.....Go Pistons!

When you complain, Austin, get your facts right. Shaq ended the game with FIVE fouls.

And in the second quarter, most of the fouls went to Minnesota, giving them a TON of free throws. Don't forget that a lot of fouls are against Shaq (hack-a-Shaq in full effect and all). So don't complain. If anything, the refs helped Minnesota, not the Lakers.

Ultimately, I think losing Cassel and Hudson was the difference. Lakers would have had a LOT harder time if the Wolves had retained those two.

I'm at the 'Who cares' stage now, also known as 'anyone but the Lakers'.

Considering I've got Ainge as the Prez of Celtics B-ball operations for the next few years, I've got about as much to look forward to as I do with "W" on the national level...

In other words, I've got years of being "anything but Lakers" ahead of me, though it's almost always been that way...

(wonders if he'll be a fool enough to get rid of Pierce, too)

so I missed one foul....oh well...I did watch most of the second half and you must admit that there were many missed calls....mostly calls that should have been against the lakers....but oh well...they won...I am actually kind of gald they did....now I can root against them in the final...if they had lost I wouldn't have cared who won the whole thing....now I want the Pistons! I think it will be a good series.

    Pistons in 7.

    Lakers in 6.

We finally have an NBA Finals worth watching for the first time in a very long while. To be honest, this one is hard to predict, because both teams have a great chance of winning it, and Detroit is the first Eastern team with a chance since Indiana in 2000, if even that.

Go Pistons. I hope one of the Wallaces make Malone look like a fool.
  • Corkscrewed%s's Photo
Won't happen unless they throw a pie in his face. That's the only way. :bandit:

Since I'm sure it'll be scripted for 7...gotta make the big bucks ya know ;) ...I'll pick Detroit in 7....
