How long was this torrent, anyway? Holy christ, I prefer to not use BitTorrent whenever possible. -

torrents own and they're still growing. the best thing about them is the implented crc check and fixing ability. but you don't know about crc checksums, i guess... duh. -

I just don't like the use of torrents at all. What I use torrents for primarily is downloading music, usually from Indietorrents, and the only word that can describe them is terrible. I find torrents to be too wonky and difficult for my taste, I prefer a good p2p client like Soulseek.torrents own and they're still growing. the best thing about them is the implented crc check and fixing ability. but you don't know about crc checksums, i guess... duh.

Before you convince yourself of this any further, playing a keyboard without looking at it is by no means impossible, in fact, its the goal of the skill you are trying to posess, now, before you flaunt your years of practice in my face, I was started with the local music teacher at age 4 that means i have 13 years of experience, now they we've cleared that up, i don't think I've played a song while looking at the keyboard since I was 12, I use my eyes to read the music, do I glance down at the keybaord occasionally, NO, then I would loose my place on the sheet, keep your eyes of your hands and on the music, thats the mantra of 2 of the teachers I've had.
hahahahaha, you just made an incredible fool of yourself, mr. corkscrewed.
trust me, i play my piano for more than 10 years now, and i do know it better than you. that okay? good. then let me tell you that playing without seeing the keyboard (do you say "keyboard" in that context?) is absolutely impossible. usually. but still, the guy can manage. okay. what by far is most difficult about this though, and what you leave totally out of account, are the different rythems. to make your brain coordinate both of your hands properly for rythms of that kind, and i'm especially talking of the "main theme" here, takes ages of practice, unless you're a genius or blessed in which way ever. also, there might exist some fan transcriptions of mario songs for piano but i doubt they are that good. he must have written them beforehand himself, i'm sure.
turtleman, thanks lots and lots for posting this, i would've missed it.
Blindfold me so I can't read the music, ok, then I just have to take some time to memorize it, which would make playing it with eyes even easier.
With that cleared up, rythms are one of the most basic skills in piano, eight notes, quarter notes, whole notes, once you learn those, rhythms get easier, once youve memorized a piece, which the blindfolded man must have done, it makes getting those even easier, because you know and feel the rhythms, and it comes from your heart, not your head.
So honestly dude, don't belittle Corky here, he has as much right to be unimpressed with what, is not really anything super-rare, as anyone. -

I think in reference to rhythms, its pertinent to the piece, because the main Mario Theme has fucked up rhythms going on. -

whoa, andrew, you're so cool.
of course you don't look at the keyboard when playing and when i said "impossible" i wanted it to stand for "very difficult", you know?
"now that we cleared that up" let's end this discussion. how about that? -

I think that guy who played with his balls was a total douchebag, but what he di was pretty cool.
