Congrats Kevin....and now prepare for the naysayer's onslaught...as I too was in a similar position, being made a parkmaker after releasing only DTA here. Take the BS with a grain of salt (something I am still learning VERY SLOWLY how to do), and enjoy yourself......Helios was a good coaster, not great but a good solid coaster in my opinion. I haven't looked at the other stuff so I can't comment....but I digress (I love saying that)

On this selection, I threw out the 'released work'. I havent seen a parkmaker this talented come along in a while, so I made him one.

The only qualifications to becoming a Parkmaker is if me (Iris) thinks your good enough. So becoming a parkmaker automatically takes care of all qualifications.

Wow, that did happen fast. But there's definitely the parkmaker and spotlight potential in Kevin... for me Helios didn't do enough to prove it... nevertheless, congrats kevin, I think you were the best non-parkmaker, hopefully this will provide the motivation you need to finish PoD. The thing is, I've heard people say parks will be finished before, including myself, and often it hasn't happened.

Still, congrats, that's probably all the parkmaker spots for the time being all gone - to rct2 players...

Maybe it's encouragement to finnish the solo...  but for real.

Trust me that even if that was the intention that the actual result is more of the opposite; when Iris told me I was parkmaker a little before Epica was completed, I found myself almost not finishing it for the deadline, and ever since then my motivation to build as fast as I used to hasn't been there and could only come back if there were more competition between the parkmakers themselves, like the list and top 50 and so on. Kevin I did like Helios, but the fact that the buildings were all created half a year ago makes me wonder if those screens of PoD are basically showing all that you've worked on in the park so far, thus very little. I hope that isn't the case, but I know how compelling it is to show a screen just to show progress, no matter how little. I hope it gets finished, but if anything I would say the release date has been pushed back a couple months if not longer. I just hope you don't end up like one of those parkmakers who never releases anything during their time as parkmaker and ends up on the retired list after one year.

Shit, SDI is basically all parkmakers.

Anyway, good job, Kevin. PoD looks fantastic, as well.
