Wow you hate it? It isn't the best, but it is good and worth the money paid for it. Thanks for the info on Madden.

I was never a fan of the NBA 2K series, but maybe I will get that this year.

I've played Madden every year all year throughout football season for eight years, and this year I'm not even going to touch it, I absolutely love 2k5.

It came out to a grand total of 16.25 at Wal-Mart, and if it is "near un-playable," you obviously dont' know football that well.. .. you have to run before you pass, etc, and there's alot of inside quirks about it to the point where you can definately see ESPN's impact on the series. I love ESPN. Case Closed, for me at least.

I totally agree with you. The gameplay, graphics, and presentation is just awesome IMO. I payed 15.88, but I'm not too sure on the tax. It is worth the money.

The physics in the game are awful. I have been playing football on game systems since it was released on the Atari, so it's not that I don't know what i'm doing. In fact I pretty sure I could mop up the field with you. I like the physics engine in Madden more, it playes into the stratagy of the game better. the ESPN series of football games have always had an issue with physics all the way back to the first one released on Dreamcast. NFL 2K1 was the reason I bought a Dreamcast, it is a brilliant looking game, but it has too many gameplay flaws.

At least you didn't pay fifty dollars for it.
