  • The Langolier%s's Photo
Woah...I actually agree wit Pawn 4 once..

    Tallest shuttle...thats a joke right?

Can we get 10 extra pts for best lookin parking lot? PLEAZ!!
  • TheGuardian%s's Photo
we should be getting points for being the longest suspended

best solution take out Misc. records if u want. or not pop up records.
  • Coaster Ed%s's Photo
Maybe Misc. Awards should be preselected ahead of time by somebody not involved in the park making. They would pick something like 'Tallest Freefall Ride' or 'Most Flatrides' but they wouldn't announce what the awards are until all the parks are in. The reason for this is that the fun of Misc. Awards is that nobody knows what they are but if they are chosen after all the parks are finished than whoever is choosing it will already know the winner which makes it a little too unfair. I don't think the awards should be know though because everyone will be cheap and build a freefall ride or a ton of flatrides just to try for the easy points. I also think there should be more than one Misc. Award per month just to keep things a little more interesting. That's my suggestion anyway.

Hey, this wasn't my call actually.
Nitrous Oxide told me to put it here, so for all you guys who stood up for him when he was banned, there you go.
If you guys wanna try and convince NO to change it, that's fine, but remember, it's "his" game.

To be honested, it's seems pretty stupid to have "tallest shuttle" when there are no other misc awards like "tallest freefall ride" or "most environmentally friendly park". Besides, the shuttle in portico is only 1 height point taller than the one in Fuji-Q, and it's not as if you need the points. :p So, I say keep it but add more categories.

BTW How come in your original Fuji-Q post you said we spent 10 points but now we have spent 20 points?
  • iris%s's Photo
Like I said, it's not my call, if you wanna tell NO to change it, I dont mind losing the Tallest Shuttle Award, its 100% his idea.

Boco, at first I forgot to add your Gyro Drop.

Iris in that forum about one company taking on another well Efteling said they would take on NE and if I'm correct shouldn't we get another 5 points (just checking)

BTW I can't believe warner brothers has 80 points damn you. :)
  • TheGuardian%s's Photo
oh sorry. Iris, if u would have told us it was a joint agreement between u and someone else (instead of ur team mate) that picked the misc. that changes everything

i thought the whole time u chose it urself to benefit you. than again ur so freakin ahead of everyone it would'nt matter lol

What do you mean? Warner Brothers is only ten points over Sea World, not that much ahead. But, anyways, Tallest Shuttle probably shouldn't be an award. It just doesn't really have much of a place, imo. Especially since there is no Longest Shuttle misc. award.

Actually, if that was added, I would have no problem with it. So, either award that to whoever deserves it, and keep your ten points, or lose them, or just don't listen to me. I couldn't care less.
  • TheGuardian%s's Photo
    what he said ^
  • Tyler%s's Photo
The reason that Tallest Shuttle is there is to prevent people from making a really tall Superman the Escape-ish type coaster and claiming to have the tallest one ever. Or something.
  • bocoson%s's Photo
    BLAH.

I see that if a park got more votes than it's "opposition" in the "Best Park" poll, it got five points. Where the hell is the original poll which featured all parks, not just the top five, and how long was it up for? Because, I figure that it could have only been up for about 15 hours, as I never even saw it or had the chance to vote in it. The whole thing seems like a popularity farce anyway. Sorry if I seem like I'm on a major stress, I'm not, I'm just annoyed at the way this is being carried out. Can you not apoint inpartial judges to judge the rankings of best park and the other oppinionated polls? Then you could have a seperate, lower point reward for "Most Popular Public Park". Maybe the panel should be a mix of people who have proven to be good at RCT, someone more into realism, someone more into fantasy etc. I just don't think it's worthwhile doing this atall if it's just going to turn into a popularity contest.

but even if it's a shuttle, it's still the tallest coaster. None of this makes sense.

i wonder when the new points that are supposed to be gained are gonna be posted..

and where did the list of all the points (price check i'm saying) for the rides.
