    The Lost City of Trizoc
Wow. JKay, you gotta take it easy with these quarter blocks, you're gonna hurt yourself one of these days. Again, the detail is just astounding. The structures you've built are simply awesome. I really liked all the subtle differences between the Sun God and the Moon God's respective sides, like each God has their own little altar space and they customize it as they see fit. The coasters were the classic "battle of the gods!" scenario, and while the design didn't blow me away, it served its purpose. Excellent job.

    Lakiki Mountains
That Virginia Reel was a doozy. Holy shit. I didn't think it was ever going to end. I really liked it though. Did a good job of weaving in and out of the mountains and villages. I think it spent a little too much time underground, though. But as a whole, it worked well. And the vegetation spread around the peaks was very good, as well.

    Journey Through Athuyaya
FLAMINGOS!!! HIPPOS!!! Whoa. I might not pay enough attention to RCT goings-on, but this is the first time I've seen animals. That was cool. But the car ride...eh. Kind of a boring way to wander around the map if you ask me. And you had a big map, there. And I have no idea what an Athuyaya is. If you included a readme that I completely skipped over, I apologize. The spires were pretty cool, though. And you had animals, which is worth bonus points.

In the end I cast my vote for JKay. That was immense, man. Congrats.

I'm getting an error when trying to unzip JKay's park. Anyone else having trouble?

    (The error:)
    File Skipped Unknown compression method.

This happens after I have entered the path and am about to extract the files using XP's Extraction Wizard.

    Dont expect much from mine
it took about 4 hours due to lack of time

shame i got through on another forfeit....this is getting boring lol

The Lost City Of Trizoc - I can't unzip it.

Lakiki Mountains - Pretty uninteresting, all the water didn't work at all. Generic architecture, a few walls were missing, long ride (lost track of it pretty quickly)... Didn't like it much, at all.

Journey Through Ayuthaya - Great temples/spires, and cool use of the animated animal scenery, but the architecture was much too repetitive and the whole thing was a bit boring.

I can email the park to anyone who is having trouble with the download here, just shoot me a PM with your email address.

Oh and thanks for the nice write-up moonspoon, I think your comments are right on.

I'll need to check out Junya's entry, looks like he put up a nice battle.

So? People are still gonna comment on the park.

Journey Through Ayuthaya - I didn't like the architecture in this. All the same colour. All the same textures. All the same size, and the round windows simply sucked. However, I loved the spires you had everywhere. They are awesome. Great use of Toons blocks there, it must be said. The ride was a little dull, but nicely done.

Lakiki Mountains - Hm. I didn't like it really. The architecture was poorly done. Looked very incomplete. The landscaping....I think you got away with there. It doesn't look half bad. The random pink flowers were over done and just distracted your view from the ride. I know you had 4 hours or whatever, but that is no excuse for the incomplete look of the architecture which good have been fixed in about 10 minutes.

Jkay, I'll comment on yours when I receive it in the e-mail.

Junya Boy, i liked the spires, but that was about it. I'm not fond of the animals in rct, and i wasn't fond of anything else, really..

Scarface, it was decent, but a rush job. I thought the ride choice was nice, and hopefully you'll come up with something a lot better next round ;).

JKay, you've got talent. Seemingly the coasters "half-worked" or atleast weren't totally bad, and the rest was just amazing. Nothing like i could ever make coz i'd quit at the sight of two building blocks not fitting together, but the 'keep building mode' kinda works here and it all comes together in your own tacky, wild style. Definitely someone who might just someday evolve into a great parkmaker :).

I said that just so he knew it was rushed. I didnt have that extra ten minutes at this time to fix it, otherwise i would have.
I had to make sure everything else was done first with that being the least important thing. It was an attempt just to get something in so chirs had something to go against so it wasnt a forfeit for him. Although he never in the end..

    Bonus is i got through
    ;)

i think The Lost City Of Trizoc may just be the park with the best ever use of 1/4 tile blocks. those coasters and theming were simply inredible. im in awe :0
  • X250%s's Photo
Jkay's park owned, the layout of the coasters were a lot better than his usual designs and the architecture was original and colourful- awesome entry. Jkay to win the tournament if he keeps pulling stuff like this out.

Trizoc - Easily the best of the round here. The 1/4 tile block use was excellent here, and although the coasters had slightly awkward layouts, they were fun to watch. There was a lot going on in the this entry, and it was very well done. Nice job jkay!
