Kalakahuna isn't the best area, but still has a.....something.....that makes it pleasant. Nothing approaching the genius of 'Diamond in the Rough' is present in any of the coasters in this park except the mine train - with a dragon sculpture to rival NeViS's in Tales of Camelot.
Well done Pyro, and next time we manage to bump into each other on AIM I'm hoping to see some rct2 work

Terras Labs is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. No one ever used rides as architecture that well.
Drachenflug is my most favourite Invert I think.... just too nice not to love it
I can't really say much that makes sense so I'd better stop here.

the architecture was plain, and was very repetative with many virgina reel awnings. Roofs never changed shape. it seemed messey in areas and over treed in others. The watershortage didn't help matters either. No coasters really stood out IMO. I have a mega pet peeve for coasters with extreme ratings.
maybe my views on parks are changing, perhaps only NE's members views on parks are changing, either way, RCT2 and me shall be an interesting experiance.
Amazing Pyro, amazing.
Only thing I disliked was the flyer and the area around it. Just not my cup of tea.. Oh well.
Evil WMEs quick Walkthrough of Aurora's Bay
A bland Entrance area (6.0) awaits u to begin the adventure.. soon u see the
entrance coaster, Typhoon (6.4), incredibly intense launched ride that is
themed tropically..
then we enter Terras Labs (8.1) which was great but soooo big.. it was
whatcha call overdone. some amazing themed gents and flats... and then one
heck of a watercoaster, Expedition Terras (8.9).. just totally hits the
spot, amazing theming, architecture, and the ride is very nice too.. luv the
waterfalls etc
Drachenshire (9.3) is what amazed me most.. till the cobra roll, Drachenflug
(7.4) was near perfect, the two helixes just lasted way too long for me..
Dwarven Mountain Mining Co. (9.1) wasnt the greatest ride ever.. but the
theming was what i call perfect.. architecture, atmosphere, and placement..
very very very good. and the smallest area of the park and MORE than enough
;-)
After the great Drachenshire we come to the Nahatuka Oasis (6.5) the last
area of the park.. tho the theming made it ok, i absolutely detest the
layout of Black Magic..(4.9) the architecture, theming and all was very
nicely don but the pure ride design looks copied and looks like shit. the
ride itself blocks a lot of view too, something i particullary hate. the
theming around the area was perfect for the particular theme.. but the area
was sooo large it became VERY repetitive. You can also try laying down on
the amount of bushes as the whole park is rocked and overbushed severly.
Nahatuka Tombs was nice.. and u got the most talent for these kind of rides.
the rapids was awesome as well.. however.. Makosarike (5.9) was not all so
hot.. this has to be a realistic park judging by its many buildings etc..
but an 8 inversion flyer is far from realistic.. the ride again is kinda
"saved by its themingg" but i hate the second inversion (or the second half
of the 1st) as it just looks ugly.. tho it has 8 inversions u seemed to try
to hide them, which was also something that i kinda hate. the best coaster
designs look good on flat green grass.
Overall (6.5) i dont know if this is perfection, as it contains incredible
architecture and theming throughout the park, or shit as it contains only
three different kinds of architecture and theming throughout the park. The
coasters are definitely not great. Drachenshire was by far the best area
becoz of the trees (what pyro has an area without jagged rocks?) i believe
this will get prase from the majority, but people like Chauncey and others
will bash it and i cant say they are all to blame..i havent been a real fan
of DD, and this is most likely better then DD when i compare it but i think
for ur next park it would be great if ud make about 8 themes on one map
instead of 3.. i seriously think i would luv ur park soooo much more then,
and ud better work on those coasters or let someone help u with them..
plz dont flame me becoz of this review.. this is my opinion and i was asked to make this review for MY opinion.. it wasnt a praise pyro the penguin kinda thing (i think).. pyropenguin even said he agreed with most of it.. not sure if he actually meant it tho
Terras labs was one of my favourite area of a park ever, the amount of detail in some of them buildings was just amazing

I wasn't too keen on black magic and the area surrounding it.
I loved drachenshire, that area was very good and i loved typhoon (nice surroundings)

And also, you say Terras Labs water coaster was near perfection, yet give it 8.9? You need to sort that out/
My most fav section was "Drachenshire
but also all the other sections were beautifull
except the Terras Labs!!!

I like can't beleive this park.
The Typhoon ride was great, with awesome theming! The flyer was AWESOME, i couldnt belevie that when i was looking at it. Terras Labs was unconventional, and you did great there. Drachenshire was Fabulous, probably my fave section behind the flyer area. It was great! Grr! Sheesh!
This passed UIX as my #1 park ever. Best park ever made in RCT IMO. The best.

Good park. I thought it was was a bit boring, but... oh well.
The coaster I liked most was the vekoma-flyer, it had a nice layout and beautiful landscape to fly through... however, the only area i really enjoyed was Drachenshire, the others were... umm... a bit boring.

Perhaps my view will change in time.
