    1979

Near the old shunting clean is now a new restaurant started on a converted boat.

The new restaurant is a success. The restaurant is full of many evenings and guests will also find the place. A short tour of the area .

At the bottom of the Havengebouw Dudok design. Behind the tower are the tracks of the main railway station.  Two tracks going over a railway bridge on Westerdokseiland , like the adjacent bridge.

The track divides this island in two . One of the tracks is a monumental train carousel in , one of the few left in the Netherlands. The other track is the property back to the big yard and the crane track

The crane line consists of a track where two cranes move on to load cargoes on trains.

A little bit further we have an abandoned shipyard with an old dry dock and slipway .

On the IJ side is at the head of the island 's headquarters of a large port company.

that cathedral is well-balanced, how gorgeous it is!

Really don't like how close the buildings are to the edge of the map, but the buildings themselves aren't bad.

The cathedral for the most part is solid, but I think that the 1/16 tile bricks and fisherman objects are a little redundant. The creation of the arched windows is nice but the 1/16 bricks stick out too much without really connecting back to the buildings in my opinion - especially considering that the fisherman arches are wall objects so won't connect very well with many SS objects. Similarly, the fisherman arches don't really work, particularly in that colour. I would keep the half-circle as is but either ditch the arch or make it blend in with the wall.

I really like the form of the cathedral towers though.

EDIT: I meant close to the edge of the map; have no idea why I wrote water - looks good there. Apologies.

In Amsterdam the streets are that close to the canal, mostly even closer... Here a example:

The park section will become online in a few days. Before the park opens there will be a fun fair first, as startup.

Little fun-fact, I work at that church, day before yesterday I had a dinner for a big company and today a big party, nowadays it's for rentals!
