Those objects make it look like a totally different game. A game I don't want to play.

I spent a decent bit of time playing WW/TT stuff back in the day, so maybe it doesn't annoy me as much as others. surely its the weird russian world expo map?

    Yes, it's "From the Ashes."

Lol, this got a 10% almost immediately after I posted it.

  • Version1%s's Photo

That's because only 10%of the objects look decent

  • 5dave%s's Photo

It got 10% because 90% of the screen destroyed my eyesight.

    "MFG"

Eh, it is horrible. If Shotguns or RCT2Day would do some sort of NCSO thing with the expansion pack scenery it would be cool, but they didn't, so it's not.

The trees and Kremlin objects especially are just horrible.

I think it's funny how you still use the side friction planters. They were all the rage around 2009-2010, when you were active here.

you've just single handedly ruined your argument that ww/tt are decent expansions

  • Faas%s's Photo

Yeah that backfired. Now go build cool stuff with actual RCT objects.

17% rating is a bit harsh. I don't understand why some of these objects are seen as horrible, sure they aren't very good, but they deserve more than 17%...the base game objects are definitely better but I don't think they're as bad as everyone makes them sound.

@5dave... Okay, I'll admit, that comment was really funny.

@Wouter VL - People are biased and can get away with things others can't. Who would've thought? Although I'm not sure if I'd go that far.

@Liampie - The planters are awesome... and I'm rather obsolete.

    @Louis! - How so?

@Faas - I'll play the game as I damn well please.

@CSW - Thanks... although the rating system is... far from objective. The phrase 'Wacky Worlds' summons more disgust than the Westboro Baptist Church.

I'm just surprised this is, as of now, probably the most hated screenshot on NE. It may just be me screwing around on a scenario but does that make it completely lack substance? To the person that voted a 5 on this... did you do so for any other reason than 'eugh... Wacky Worlds'? If not... You. Are. Dense.

    Fair enough.

If you would delete those hideous Kremlin objects this screen would be pretty nice to look at.
  • RCTER2%s's Photo

This is not your fault, the kremlin objects itself give people a plastic feeling and can't match well with vanilla objects.

It looks fun and apart from the shitty trees I think the foliage is good. That's why I voted 30%. But for the rest, this screen doesn't offer much. Hideous objects and a hideous coaster. No alright foliage mix can compensate that.

Eh, I think the reaction here is a bit exaggerated. I don't own WW/TT, so I can only speak secondhand, but I don't think the objects are bad, just that they clash with the texture style of vanilla RCT2 objects. I think the WW/TT objects can be used in the right setting, if sparingly.
