i agree j k, sam's parks page looks ever more prestigious when you move from bottom to top.

sam, again in public, i am SO proud of you you finished this. it has allowed you to improve so much and i hope you are enjoying your game more and more. can't wait to see what's next from you :)

first of all, thanks to everyone who commented and looked, and thanks to everyone who put work into bringing this park to the frontpage!

    cocoa-thanks a lot cocoa! :D

roomie-thanks roomie. i'm glad you enjoy my unusual selections.

goliath-you never have anything nice to say about me anyway, so i feel no loss in reading this comment.

austin-cheers austin :D thats really nice to hear, and being compared or even mistaken for robbie is a massive compliment. thanks.

john-cheers, thanks for the comment :) can't please everyone and i apreciate your opinion.

stoksy-i'm very glad you enjoyed the park! thanks for the congrats! about the water ride; this park started near the time that h2h5 started, and i was nowhere near as adept as i am now. my planning skills were unheard of. i somewhat miss the reason i put it there. i "planned" or, "wanted" a ride to be there, so a ride was put there.
louis-thanks! and under two percent! that stung :p and however annoying and scalding your ongoing thoughts are, they're somewhat useful :p

xfusion- Force SSSammy? :p thanks buddy.

    turbin3- thanks man, really encouraging

    belgianguy- thanks stijn :)

    wanted- thanks

5dave - hear hear! and thanks a lot for the logo, it's excellent!

    JJ- thanks buddy!

sey- thanks man, i apreciate it.

avaninecommutor-all praise and crit duely noted! thanks for the kind words!

mf72- i'm loving all the "i didn't think you were this good" comments, thanks!

dmaxsba-thank you for your insight on the park. :)

    J K - thanks! :D

posix - thanks posix, again in public, it's really your mentoring that got me here.

i'm surprised to see how many people hang on the size of a park. i prefer to delve into the realms of thought and execution rather than "quantity". but hey, what do i know about rct :)

Hmmm, this is a hard one to review as my feelings are so mixed. I'll probably look through it a few more times to get a better feel.

Esentially, I'm gonna put this in the same category as the Flying German's Vampyre park in H2H5. Such nice stuff, but so little content (for a silver, I mean). Personally, I prefer small maps such as this to be absolutely loaded with as much as can fit without looking absolutely ridiculous. I know a lot of people wouldn't agree with that, but that's really what I would prefer. As it stands now, this almost reminded me of a thinned out Belmont Park (the RCT version, not in real life). It felt like by the time you got a hold of the park and figured out what you wanted to do with it, you were already running out of room, which is a shame because some of the stuff in this park was completely awesome. Overall, it's great to see how far you've come since you first joined here. You have a lot of talent and skill, and I think if you really planned out your next project with a clear vision of what you wanted it to be, you can deffinitely hit gold. I'm a little unsure of how to rate this particular park. It's silver/gold quality with a bronze amount of content, if that makes sense. Anyway, congrats man. This is really a nice piece of work that shows how much you've improved over time.

And to everyone who does this: Stop layering every single area of path! Where the hell do you guys see this in real life?

Makes perfect sense to me and you worded it the way I wish I had. ;)

Yeah, it is a little too small to be a gold.

just want to get out that i love how people value quantity so much because i agree this is an important measure of a park.

I also just wanted to point out how awesome the whole site has been over the past few days. NE4, a spotlight, followed by a total barrage of releases. Sasshire, which really shows a up-and coming player, sonoma, a totally awesome and really great gold park filled with style, Dark Victory, a great comeback park, and now this. I love the way you guys are waiting atleast 24 hours or so to to put up a new one. And I have to wonder when it will end (Not that I want it to). I can think of atleast one other park that has been submitted that im highly anticipating (Woodfall) and I know of atleast one other that is for sure coming at some point, and who knows what else. Excellent work to not just Posix, Geewhzz, but to the rest of the community as well, we would be nothing without everyone.

Here is my take on the quantity thing, Quantity pulled of in huge sizes only works if it is well organized. For Example, Europa. There was a tooon of material in here, but there was so much it really was overwhelming. Did it make it any less impressive to me? no, if anything it was more impressive. But it did detract from the overall understanding of the park I though. Then we look at something Like Watkins, which is a very different take, but is very well organized and very clean. Even, say, DRoC which was completly chaotic was organized into only 5 or so areas based on a really easy to follow circular pattern. It was really nice.
How ^that applies to SSSammy's park I dont really know, but ehh. Just something I wanted to say.

SSSammy - Great park and congrats on the Silver. Although I agree that quality should always be the primary focus of any submission, there still needs to be a level of quantity to help take it to the next level. What was there was very good and really shows how you have taken it to the next level in your detail and execution.

Again great job and I'm looking to see more form you in the future.

I really enjoyed the fence around the coaster and the interaction there with the Top Spin. It reminded me of Coney Island. The coaster supports were great and I also liked the compact water ride and the way it interacted with the path. Was a fun little park and great execution all around.

i love this park for the same reason i love nin's current work.
and that is simply because of how clean cut and defined everything is.

you build your work with a clear purpose in mind and dont build just to build [like i do]

    very classy work sammy
