    awww. crap. I just got rctgold in the mail yesterday. But Luck it comes with plain old rct1 disc so Then I have to uninstall expaintions. and get plain ll. REally sucks

    Quick question, I installed LL today. But whenever I run the drexler patch it says;
    This is not RCT with an expansion pack. I cannot patch this. Sorry.

    how can I change this ? I installed LL on win7, if that's of any help.

    ***note: the following applies to the regular "rollercoaster tycoon" and its expansion "loopy landscapes".
    if you own "rollercoaster tycoon: gold edition" or "rollercoaster tycoon deluxe", which are merely bundles of the two above mentioned, you can run the game but not open the park releases from this site because the "drexler patch" (read about it under 1.3) was never updated to work "gold" or "deluxe".***
    Update: apparently the "Gold" edition released by Infogrames will still work. Give it a try.

    I just noticed this. I'll just have to find another version of LL I guess.

    Asking if my uncle has either RCT with expansions added or RCT deluxe. Hoping for the first obviously. He doesnt quite know why it matters though. I tried explaning him about patches.

    Here's the situation. Peeps stuck in a corner of the park. Usually not a problem, but I want to let some peeps enter the park. Is this still possible? How to fix it? I don't know what happened to the water but if you know a solution to that too I'd like to hear it.

    edit: I don't there's a park entrance on the map... In case that can't be undone, is there another way to get a peep on a certain tile somehwere else in the park?

    if it doesn't get in the way of what you've alread built, shrink the map by 1 tile to fix the glitch near the edge.

    Liam: It looks to me as though you have allowed that tile to be 'owned' in which case you will be left with the jam you see. You can allow peeps to enter at any point on the map edge that has a path and the land is not owned (i.e construction rights or unowned). If you delete the path you may see the peeps disappear, otherwise use the spontaneous combustion tool in the Beasts Special - Launch Disaster menu and they will disappear.

    To place the entrance and get peeps in:

    1. Build a path at the map edge.
    2. Change the land type and change the ownership in the dragons 'Land' menu to an unowned type.
    3. The path should connect to the edge of the map and you will see peeps walking along it.
    4. To put an entrance into the park place 3 giraffe statues in a row and hit the move entrance button in dragons.

    If you press move entrance without 3 statues the entrance will disappear as it is now.

    Got the peeps thing sorted now, thanks. RMM, shrinking the map is not an option. Any other ideas? I might turn that corner into land but it's not ideal.

    Liam, it's 3.2 in the guide. Get the entrance gate back by placing three giraffes and hitting "move entrance" in dragons6 land tools. Unowned path leading to that gate will make peeps enter your park. Should be the same logic in RCT2.

    To add to Loopy's post, removing peeps via 4cars' "remove guests" is faster than beast's "spontaneous combustion".

    Since I'm not building anything, I haven't dared try and get trainers running, but the guide helped me get LL running on Win7x64 without fail.

    Thanks - now I can go and look at parks I've missed, as well as some of my old stuff again.

    Has anyone got any experience using this guide for running LL on a MacBook Pro and does anyone have experience playing the game on a MacBook? Will this method allow you to use trainers?

    Is there a guide to avoid your computer freezing every time you minimize (or exit) the game? I know I'm not the only one to have ever come across this. I'm using XP at the moment, but I'll be using my Win7 computer soon so I don't know what will happen on there.
