what if I told you there isn't... just a select few people know how to get around this...
PS: I'm not one of the select few

I don't "get" diagonal path tiles. I know they have to be recessed to make the clearances work out, but then you have half a tile lowered and you either have to cover it with a random land tile lump, foliage (covering the diagonal tile almost completely, rendering its existence moot), or cover the other half with a different path type, and pray it doesn't glitch horribly.

I haven't built anything in RCT2 in so long that this makes zero sense to me.

if it's at the same level youll get glitch heaven

If this is true then it would be incredibly selfish of those select few to not share this crucial knowledge with the rest of the rct community. Just saying.

    yeah really what the fuck

if you know and you aren't telling ppl you're literally just playing the game for your own ego

I guess if there really is a workaround, then the select few are banned on NE anyways :mantis:

And no shit like this pls; http://www.nedesigns...-extended-beta/

edit: Hah, I got what bg meant! Off course he meant the select few people who programmed the game core, like Chris Sawyer :p So clever!

basically does it improve the game being able to break it? I mean what does spark creativity even with CSO, the fact you sometimes have to make due with what you have, and honestly it's not like its possible to have an endless stream of objects in an sv6 file, I just heard that it's possible to change some slot types for better use and such... wich changes LS slots whatever you need of them if you aren't using them...

That's besides the point. Remember Levis' april fools joke? and remember how pissed off everyone was because it was considered a HUGE breakthrough for parkmakers everywhere and many (K0ng especially) were on the rag about how it was a cruel joke, wasn't funny, blah blah blah. So it is a huge deal if this were possible and even if it is something as simple as changing LS slots, it is an advancement in the way we play the game and to not share it is a showcase of true selfishness and egoism.

this makes me think some path objects to match curves would be nice.
  • BelgianGuy%s's Photo
and seeing those can be made simply as large scenery those objects might be damn usefull and not clutter the SS slots haha
  • Six Frags%s's Photo
    Yeah, I've been thinking about that for a long while.. What it basically needs to be I think, is an object that fits the road lines curves from gee's road line objects.. What makes RCT3 so realistic nowadays is the way to make a flowing path layout, and it only has a few more path options. I think it's possible to get something like this too in rct2;

maybe you should make a topic about it then :p

not that I don't mind the free publicity for mine

I've recently been in a bit of an LL kick, and I wanted to try and see how well I could build in a more old school aesthetic. Heavily natelox inspired. Not the most interesting thing I've ever made though, I did this in about an hour, probably. :)

I really like the atmosphere. Its very nice!

I love everything about it, except the crazy paving. I think it's one texture too many, and should be replaced with the ornate tile path. Probably stealing some or all of it if I ever get back to my LL projects.

Lots of charm. Pull the full tile foliage back a tile or two from the buildings though. It needs room to breathe.
