Spectacular, and I'm shocked to read some of the in-my-eyes unjust and at times condescending criticism above.

A hugely necessary step into the right direction. At last we have a combination of micro obsession which is removed from the liberties and leisures of CSO, and in turn beautiful creativity everywhere. For this reason alone, this must be a spotlight for me. I loved it.

    Thank you shotguns?.

it'll come as no surprise i agree with po reading a lot of the comments

and speaking as someone who perhaps might give a bit more of a shit than other people about ncso, i personally dont resent the use of cso paths. the paths included in the base game do not offer much in the way of variety, and the ones he did include are mostly carry overs from LL, so has a surrogate NCSO status in my eyes. they're grandfathered in. if we were to suggest this is anything other than ncso would baffle me. if we removed the CSO elements it would still be the same park.

my least favourite part of this park was how none of the "non ride rides" were named. they were just blank. i personally like reading peoples explanation for things, even if it is just "z-support12", but i reaslise i dont have room to talk on this issue

    Fully deserved.  Congratulations.

Also, I am honored to have a handyman named after me in this park. :)

Quite well done on a technical standpoint; very creative use of the base game's objects, though tile inspector screwed you over in a few places with your paths. Highly impressive for the amount of dedication and effort required; the only complaints I have are things missing from walls and some rather glitchy features that may have been handled better in a different manner. Pretty minor complaints, all things considered. I probably would have voted 80% mostly upon the creativity and technical expertise displayed.

Yes!!! I am so very pleased with this. 100% spotlight confirmation I wasn't expecting, but even better.

Congrats Shotguns! This park has quality on so many levels, with the layouts standing on the extreme positive for me. Well deserved, couldn't be happier for you.

so when will his name color change?

Doesn't it mean "no custom scenery objects"?

    take the spotlight off him

  • Faas%s's Photo

You tried to build a CSO park with non-CSO. For me, that mindset took away a lot of the stuff I enjoy in NCSO, mostly the simplicity.
That, along with the lack of peeps, took away from the atmosphere of the park in my opinion.

What I liked (and justify my 70% vote):

    - The coaster layouts
    - The trampolines (great)
    - The more simple straightforward buildings, like the wooden coaster station and the chairlift station next to it.

Congrats on the spotlight! although not my cup of tea, this park shows a huge dedication to the game.

You did it, Shotty. You won the big one. I love everything in here, especially El Diablo.

Congrats on the spotlight mate, it is truly well deserved.

This park is amazing and no matter how long I try to find something that I dont like, the positive always outweights the negative in a way I didn´t think was possible, given our mutual* dislike for each others work. You created a milestone here and I sure hope you´ll be up for the challenge of topping that.

*at least my dislike of your work, not sure if it really goes both ways.

Well done on the spotlight, definitely a spotlight in my opinion. Amazingly clever use of scenery/rides everywhere, i'm sure I could look around and see new uses for stuff on every single screen.

Kinda reminds me of the old Foozy parks in a way? Not really sure why. That's a very good thing by the way.

I kinda wish there was one large building/weenie to define the park, though. Like, when I think back, I don't always remember the best or nicest parks, but I do remember Foozy's park with the Eiffel Tower, or DisneyAir with the sign on the entrance. Not really sure where i'm going with this...

About fucking time you cleaned your act up :p

You reach your full potential here. This is some really impressive work. I really liked El diablo and its area. Gullywash was great too. Voodoo had a great layout, tho idk about the kinda barn looking station. The custom rides were awesome. Would have liked to see better peep function, but that's not a big deal.

Congrats on a well earned NE Spotlight. I know you put a ton of work into the game and it's great to see it come together and get paid off here.

First of all, congrats on the Spotlight! It's an amazing achievement!

I guess I wanted to like this more than I do. From a technical standpoint, it's pretty much flawless. Very impressive ncso.

On the other hand I agree with Faas. I kind of missed the simplicity of "normal" nsco. It sometimes felt forced and a bit too much. Maybe it's just a matter of taste, I don't know.

Obviously it doesn't take away the impressiveness of this park. What you've accomplished is amazing regardless of what my opinion is.

The most memorable part for me was the Western(?) area. F*ing beautiful, man.

Can't wait to see your next release. Coors Park looks like another Spotlight to me. Can you do an Alex? Two Spots in one year? I think you can.
