Hey, sorry for the late review, Shotguns. Congrats on another spectacular park - well deserved of its accolade. I’m just baffled how you’re able to create these things so fast and so well laid out. Everything seems to flow in a very natural and organic way. It seems like your parks took a very long time to plan. The park layouts are outstanding and feel very realistic. I’m quite sure things just happen naturally for you along the way, which says a lot about your talent.

At this point of the review I’m starring at the overview and it just looks great. It looks like something taken right out of real life. I love how the outskirts enfold the park and somewhat tell a story.

The entrance is quite beautiful with the buildings with brown rooftops. Very charming. Obviously, the theatre is stealing the show here. To build these large structures and to make them look good at the same time is very difficult, but you were clearly successful here. I really like the ground texture and the fountain in front of the theatre. The trees add a lot too. Overall, very solid architecture, nice colours and details. The entrance area is somewhat cold and could use a dose of atmosphere/life.

Some nice architecture and better atmosphere near Ragin’ Cajun. I definitely adore the miniature train. It’s wonderful. Patriot and the area around it, is another clear example of your talent. Everything just flows so well, and it looks truly gorgeous. The curved paths work so well with the shapes of the river rapids. Some of the buildings seems a bit overdone and messy, but still charming and cute. I love the little seating area near the rapids - the building with Grandma’s Fresh Baked Cookies in it. You should’ve made at least one table peepable! Obviously a very good job by Pac and Shnupz with Barnstormer. Nice layout.

I was going to give you credit for the red Schwarzkopf, but I just read Pac created this one too. I love the layout. It fits very well into the setting. The whole area around Rebel Yell is gorgeous. The elevations and the crazy path work very well.

I also want to highlight the Widowmaker and the dam. I just love how this coaster goes through beautiful landscaping and a boring parking lot. A lovely contrast. Another gorgeous layout by Pac. On top of it we have what I would consider the most beautiful wooden coaster I have ever seen built in this game: Corsair. Jesus Pac… Stop being so good. This in combination with your strong architecture and organic park layout, Shotguns, make a very successful concept. The area near Corsair is top of the line. The atmosphere is great. The cute, little yellow kiddy coaster is adorable.

There are plenty of things to comment on. There is a ton of stuff worth mentioning, but it would take me too long, and I would just sound like a broken record.

All in all, this is a very strong park. It has a lot of the ingredients I wish to see in a park. However, it sometimes misses out on what I think might be the most important thing, atmosphere. Atmosphere is normally what sucks me into a park and keep me interested for a long while. Atmosphere to me could be buildings with a purpose, peepable buildings/seating areas, small stalls, map racks, games, vending machines, signs, cozy lights, entertainers etc. To me, a park doesn’t have to be the most innovative or realistic. It doesn’t have to be technically perfect or most refined. It just has to make me feel like I’m there.

Shotguns, you’re extremely talented and despite some drama, you seem like a genuinely nice person. I hope this isn’t the last thing we’ll see from you.

So should I look at West or East first?

East is significantly better so probably West first IMO.
