Great job with this - a fun park concept which suits your building style well. I think you got the level of theming spot on; just enough to sell the ride names, suitably lightweight for the small park vibe, and also echoing the way some of these pre-built rides come with some basic scenery. I particularly liked this skyline mural next to Roadworks:

This is a cute park. Well done. The foliage is pretty lovely in quite a few places. The wild mouse stands out to me, might be my favorite ride in the park. But i think the area around the woodie and car ride might be the best area in the park.

    Nice stuff faas

This is very charming and a cool concept. I like the rides you picked and I think it's pretty great how you reimagined things like Roadworks and the motion simulators.

Like alex said, the amount of theming is well suited to the size of the park. Personally, there are a lot of cool prebuilts I would like to see in a larger park setting, but what's here is nice.

A very Faas style park. Very cute. For me the highlights were the area around Lobotomizer and the area around the woodie. Lobotomizer has  a very cool and original layout for an SLC, and the interaction with the surrounding area is also very cool. I also love the glass objects to make the division between that area and the rest of the park. On the other side of the park I like the little roadworks ride and the mouse sculpture next to it, very cute. Overall just a nice park, well done.

Was very much looking forward to this after seeing your screens earlier.I appreciate the goal you had building this, staying true to the game, a no-nonsensical attitude.

I really like how recognizable the layouts are. You slightly adjusted them, gave them a little more breathing room, in favour of flow and aesthetics and it's really well done.

I love all the little rct emojis all around and the 3Dcinema with mouse tails playing is a very creative and joyful find.

Park is a bit small, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a great little park to show friends what can be done using ORCT2 while still keeping it manageable and as close to the original game as possible.

Park layout and ride/path interaction are solid. I like how you paid attention to all the backlot stuff. All the signs are great too.

Only nitpicks are that some of the trees look a bit 'too clumped' and the map edges are all very square, green and simple, However, this might be intentional to give that classic feel. Also, I dont really like the orange glass things on the floor near lobotomizer.

This is adorable. Between the shoutouts to the preset rides and the modern spin you put on them, this is a great ode to RCT2 as a whole. I had a bunch of pictures in here, but they were acting weird so I'll just do a bullet list instead.

    - Love the spin you put on the 3D cinema for Mouse Tails. Genius.
    - The path interaction with Lobotomizer is definitely a highlight.
    - Love the use of the backgroundless sign at the top of Tinder's lift hill.
    - Doubledrop is such a joy. Love the plaza and the ride icon signs everywhere.
    - I'm a fan of the yellow glass path patterns. I wonder how they'd look without supports below the glass.

Love this park, it's so much fun and a nice tribute to the game. A great job making the coasters more realistic while still being instantly recognizable, and I love the flat rides as well. I also especially love Roadworks in this.

Great stuff Faas. As always, I enjoy your work. While being maybe a smaller park, it has a lot of character and everything feels just right. What was here left me wanting more, and that the most you can ask as a builder.

The recreations were great and well themed. Lobotomizer was pretty cool with the glass floors and the simple futuristic vibe. Tinder was pretty cool with the covered queue. The of the argonath spire walls were a great deco trim here. Great object usage throughout the park too.. namely the Disneyland trim on the teacups and the argonath pillar corners. Added a level of trim and detail that was simple and effective.

Besides that, the ice cream stand opposite Lobotomizer was cute. Foliage on the park borders were very nice and it was great usage of the base game flower beds. The added trackitecture curve on Doubledrop's station building was a nice touch as well.

Nice little park here Faas, glad I got a chance to look at it and provide an accolade vote. It's a pleasant creation for sure, typical Faas, with some unique theming ideas and really good use of pre-built layouts. From the screens and whatnot you've shared, I was expecting a much larger park for whatever reason, but that's literally the only thing I find fault with: I want more!

Sawyer Springs is like a chain park sample platter. After all, in our world the main point of a prebuilt coaster model is to be able to clone it, and clones are often invested in by chains. As a result, it holds true to that chain park aesthetic of concrete with strips of foliage rather than the opposite, and the rides feel very appropriately compartmentalized. It has the full roster and the presence of themed areas all sampled and sorted on a smaller map. Of course, the small map size is the main thing limiting this park, but that doesn't detract from the aesthetic too much besides the kind of quasi-randomness created by small, closely stitched together themed areas.

Congrats on the gold, Faas. This was a very cute enjoyable park. It was a bit smaller then i expected when seeing the screens, but great stuff nonetheless.

    1. I think the one big criticism I’d have for you Faas is that I wish the park was kinda pushed out if that makes sense. Like if everything just had a smidge more breathing room with more swaths of foliage and landscaping and bodies of water, things of that nature

      Pun intended

Plus with more room you could’ve leaned into the curves a bit more cause they look great, but when they are contrasted directly near them with sharp diagonals it feels a little disjointed in spots

edit: my copy/paste from Discord is a little wonky but there you go

This is one of those great releases that seems fairly ordinary at first glance but then reels you in with its wonderful details. While it may not be the first park to approach classic RCT nostalgia with modern techniques, the commitment to the concept of transforming default tracks and flats into a realistic setting truly pays off at a level I don't believe we've seen before. You could have just plopped down the defaults and themed them, but you took the extra steps to ensure that their layouts flowed by realistic standards, and this bold choice in particular shows the strong dedication you have to both RCT and realism.

Thematically, everything fit nicely into the overarching concept, and this level of quality execution on a full-sized map would make for an easy Spotlight. While a more generic theme park setting works well for the track designs you've chosen, I think you could also take this concept into a (slightly) different direction in the future and choose coasters that can be themed to certain areas of a larger park. The challenge would be finding themed designs that also resemble real layouts, but I think you would have a great deal of fun transforming classic RCT themeing into your own modern style.

Coasters I hope to see modernized in the next expansion:

    - Mummy's Curse

    - Time Twister

    - Great White Wail

    - Icicle Bob

    - Quantum Thruster

    - Production Line

I believe I speak for most of us here when I say that I hope this is the first of many great Sawyer parks we see from you. But even if this is the only one we ever see, it still certainly holds its own!

This has that vintage Faas vibe that I really enjoy in parks. It's incredibly cute and has some great nods to the classic game with a new-fresh take (like the motion simulator building).

I kind of wish it were larger, but it's not a bad thing to leave people wanting more and you did cram a ton of detail into a small space.

    Nice work.

although classic rct nostalgia recreations are a dime a dozen these days, this one is a particularly pleasant. the little faces everywhere are an excellent addition, and the building is just clean and elegant everywhere. I thought you used the mulch under rides in a way which wasn't entirely ugly, maybe for the first time ever. rattlesnake makes a lovely centerpiece too. favorite bit was probably the roadworks ride, so cute
