Description
This Butterfly Dam scenario playthru is lovingly dedicated in memory of my friends Wolfman and K0NG.
It's rough around the edges, but we've got a nice 10-coaster lineup packed into the hilly setting. Of course, mamarillas brought the hydra.
I built most of this pre-pandemic, then mostly finished it during lockdowns. At long last sharing with you all.
Stay a while, pop a balloon, and I hope you have some fun!

Will examine in more detail later but wanted to drop a comment to get the ball rolling, because it's very cool. Very enjoyable build!
This park is bigger than what it looked like at first! I love your coaster layouts so I'm checking them out first, but even before I can do that my eye is drawn to all kinds of random fun details around the map edge. Park is already oozing fun, and I like how it looks like an RCT park. Ridge Runner doesn't disappoint - flowy and original. Wizard Mizgog I also approve of, though I wish it had more cohesive surroundings. Wild Hunt I merely 'like', but the highlist is the wild looooong shallow drop - you somehow make it work. I like the other features in this corner a lot - the debris dam, and the long covered wooden bridges. Hydro does the job, except those ugly ass volcanoes. K0NG is very good again, why are your layouts so cool? Will deduct orginality points for the super helix, since you do that in every park, haha. Wolfman is competing for the best coaster in the park. RIP to both these old bastards, btw. Okay there's a better coaster here: Reely Dizzy - so good! Nice use of chairlift supports. Sasquatch: nice twist on Big Bad Wolf. The tiny patch of autumnal foliage here is a great touch somehow. Wicked Wyvern and Merribobs are the only coasters that didn't really do it for me. Theming in the park is a bit meh. There's great moments and a lot of good ideas, but I think it's too eclectic as a whole for the good elements to truly shine. Lastly... "lazy river nobody wants to work" made me laugh
Really enjoyed the park, glad you finished and submitted it!
Some classic luketh goodness. This map is massive! Just so pleasant all around. I absolutely love the dam setting. It creates such effective visual separation across the map and really allows you to lean into this unique theme. Congrats on the release!
Lots of cool and creative stuff and here, and my god is there a lot of content. Interesting architecture, using a ton of abstractions to create these intriguing shapes and effects, like that blue heartline twister and the red bobsled. That hydra statue and the integration with the dive coaster is so cool. The dam itself is really nice and the water in the middle gives some much needed open space for the park. Coasters are a bit hit-or-miss for me. Most have atleast one highlight moment, some really nice framing or otherwise interesting quality, so i wanted to check all of them out .There is also some questionable decisions and wonky pacing, but most of the time it adds to the fun factor. My favorites of the bunch are the wooden, the dive and the standup coaster. Good work and congrats on the release!
Cool blend of LL and NCSO! I liked looking through this. The purple sculpture is fun and reminds me of older parks where it was the norm to include things like it. Its a pleasant blend of scenario play and sandbox. Congrats on finally getting to finish this!
Really loving this Luketh! I found myself a little overwhelmed by how much there is in this map. It feels so much bigger than 127x127! Layouts have that a great blend of flow and whimsy I've come to expect from you. There's also a lot of great little NCSO tricks and ideas in this map like the mushroom gazebo, Darth Cavity, and the construction of the dam. The huge hydra sculpture definitely takes the cake though, that's just too cool. Also it has goblins so it's an instant 100/yes
Wow that landscaping is so cool. Feels underscored here but downloading now.
+ I like how you instantly win the scenario when opening the park. Starts off with a good feeling
Tons of fun rides to follow, some more sophisticated than others. But there's absolutely no lack of content here that's for sure.
I thought the little Dark Green Rail tram was charming, love that little bridge.
The Ridge Runner woodie stood out the most for me, fantastic layout and I like how it's situated on the ridge there (name kind of gave it away)
Really wished I liked this park more, but I just couldn't get into it fully. Some of the layouts are stellar and wouldn't be out of place in a high gold / spotlight park... namely Ridge Runner. Others though in terms of their support work and layout feel a bit too scenario-y for me like Merribobs, Kong, and Wild Hunt.
This scenario landscape is quite difficult to work with.. and I think it really made it difficult to theme it strongly/effectively. I think starting fresh with a blank canvas and making a custom map similar to the scenario ala what Jappy, Alex, and Faas have done would've been perhaps a better move in terms of accolade scoring. But, I can tell you had fun with this project over the past few years and there's a lot to be said about that.
