8.Captain America vs. Red Skull by Alec
--Winner: "Stryker's Base" by mantis (4-1)
5.Twisted
4.Sixgun by Mortician
--Winner: "Sixgun" by Mortician (Forfeit)
Next Round:
1.mantis
4.Mortician
Mort- I don't care for the coaster much but the surrounding are absolutely beautiful. Sadly Twisted did not answer the call to take you on so congrats for pulling off a worthy entry for an opponent that didn't show.
Alec- Sad; pathetic even. I know you have skill way beyond this unforgivable pile of puke. I know you could do much, much better. Even your entry from the last round proved that.
Mort takes the cake while Mantis and Alec pull off nearly unequaled discrases to their own abilities.

I kind of assumed that mantis didn't finish...I kind of agree that it was below what I expected, but I attributed that to rushiness. Maybe I'm the arrogant one? Oh well.
Mort got my vote...the only finished one, and I really liked the layout. Especially the inline twist at the valley of a hill.
Now that I have seen them I have only on thing to say. Wow. Mantis' and Alec's looked half-assed. Mort's is the only one that actually looked finished. I expected Mantis to kick ass but it barely got through. He had really do better next time or Mort is going to win. I'd have to say this round was worse than the last one.
Lets put it this way, after opening Alec's and watching my expectations sag to new lows I expected Mantis's entry to blow it away, but it didn't. If anything Mantis's entry barely edged it out and that was purely to do with the layouts. I think they both could've done much better.

Mantis' duelers were awsome.
Mort's was brilliant.
Alec's was.....ummmm, i dunno.
Mort, I loved it. It was crisp, a little different, definitely your best yet. Coz i'm always an idiot when d/ling parks i thought this must've been mantis' work. The theming is top notch, the coaster just isn't.
Alec, maybe it would have been great themed, maybe it wouldn't have. I don't see any of your perception in it either, actually, sorry. Maybe again it's because it's just not themed.. and the ride is nothing special if it isn't themed.
The duelers were good in Stryker's Base, but that's about all. The ice and rock surfaces clash horribly and the result is a map that is very uninviting to look at. It's plainly obvious you didn't have much time to get this done as it is only a shadow of what you are capable of Mantis. I hope you can give us a proper match up against Mort.
Alec, I can see that this would probably have been a very good entry if you had finished it and I actualy rate it higher then Mantis'. The adventure ride is very well layed out and you have obviously started to develop the seperate areas (captain americas and red skulls) and it just seems more effort probably went into this then Mantis'. I also liked the statue of Red Skull.
It's a shame you couldn't get anything in Twisted. I'll forgive you for producing such a cool flyer in Pixel Juice last round.
Stryker's Base - Nice duelers, though I suppose they weren't finished, like the rest of the entry. Still, I can imagine it looking really cool if it would be finished. THings like the barbed wire and the flowing adamantium was nice details.
Sixgun - Most complete entry, but still not very interesting IMO, and the landscaping wasn't very good. Nothing was really wrong with it though, and the coaster was pretty good, so I'm voting for it.
