Although the new possibilities are nice, the Beast trainer makes RCT more "NE-friendly", and that is partially why I voted for the RCT park. Really nice subtle hacks, and I really liked the layout of both coasters. Awesome job!
The teams should've been "made fair" from the beginning but they weren't...
just my opinion.
which really, they aren´t
tho blue meanies are obviously the bestest, tho i might be a bit biased on that
-Liquid coaster had a nice intro but just watching the ride discloses how fast this park had to be complete
-The advantages of RCT2 given were not used probably because of planning and poor exacution, but you blame that on time
This was a modest park, if it had more character and rides then it might have won
I actually take back the part about the layout of Mon Chou. The layout was pretty good but the ride was just not adapted well to the park. Think of it as a world class coaster, but a world class coaster in a parking lot, IMO, will never be #1.
In RCT, the setting of the ride almost becomes more important than the ride itself and great coasters in real life are not always as good as they appear. If Raven was not in it's great setting, I have no doubt that it wouldn't be as popular. A little advice, change the end of Mon Chou's layout to something more mouth watering like this
Corozal gets my vote.
Fatha', Natelox and Butterfinger (3 Spotlight Winners) all in one and the same team along with some other good guys being on their way to become parkmakers...
And you call it fair?
Anyway,
I don't mind loosing, I just think the votings would've been more exciting like we had it with Icons and my team.
and on a side note, obviously, the blue meanies are the bestest.
Actually, I don't think I was clear.
When I said "although the new possibilities are nice", I meant that the new options that are available in RCT2 are nice, and implemented accordingly into the RCT2 park. However, with the use of hacks, the RCT was by far better. I wasn't comparing them along the lines of what one game can do versus what the other can't, but I was merely sharing an example of one of the ways in which the RCT park beat the other one out: by simply exploiting the game alot better.
Vert summed up my point perfectly: "The advantages of RCT2 given were not used probably because of planning and poor exacution"
Ah, and Posix, I think this would be a good time to close your mouth for a while. Although I can't force you too, I think I could rouse a majority to make that happen. There's a set of implied rules around here, a bit like your "RCT Sins." (Which, may I add, you never share with us.)
1. Don't ever assume something will be fair....because nothing is.
2. Don't ever try to joke around or be sarcastic....because no one can hear you.
3. Don't ever assume someone is better than everyone else, because of their title....because JUST WHEN IRIS SAYS SOMEONE IS A PARKMAKER DOESN'T MEAN NO ONE CAN MAKE SOMETHING AS HIGH QUALITY AS THEM. WE ALL HAVE THE SAME GAME, AND IT ISN'T THAT DAMN HARD TO PLAY. YOU DON'T HAVE PRIVILEGES THAT WE DON'T, BOY, YOU HAVE THE RESPECT OF A BUNCH OF NERDS.
And respect won't win you this contest.
Oh, and I don't mean just in this thread, either.
(Speaking of nerds, I can't believe I'm getting so worked up over this.)
45-4. Ouch.
Congrats to The Mean Green for winning and becoming first place in their district, with a record of 1-0.
Corozol was made by Natelox and Themeparkmaster
Evanescence was made by GigaForce & Prince Ashitaka.
Thank you. Week 2 starts...Sunday!
