  I think that by going for 100% accuracy you're actually making it less accurate. You want all the angles to be right but as a result everything is out of proportion and awkwardly stretched out. Go with a straight lift rather than a diagonal one, it will make your life easier.

   

   

  Are you going to recreate Hershey Park?

  I agree with Liam, the proportions are really awkward. You can hack in a diagonal station and make it semi-functional by the way, just make the ride stop on an invisible station tile somewhere and move the entrance/exit to the custom diagonal station area

  God I always forget how pretty that ride is, was my favorite growing up when it still had the PTC trains but totally understand why they switched.

   

  I say you should try doing what shnupz proposed with making the station diagonal so the rest of the layout is better aligned to the grid, and this will help address the issue Liampie brought up with all the curvature being too elongated. In RCT's grid I guess it would look more like this with the station looking like it was going straight up on the screen:
