News / The List Returns!!!

Hey, this might be a way to score them accuratly: Since Nate has a #1 he gets 50 points for that park. My #3 would earn 48 points, and say the #50 park would get 1 point. Its sorta like reverse scoring. Then just add up all of those scores for individual parkmakers and there ya go. I dont have time to calculate all of that, but I think it is way more accurate.

    Um...

    1 question:

Why was dunsmuir by Segaman so damn high?

To me, it seemed like it didn't deserve to be on the list at all. It's an average 4 corners park with the lake in the middle. Nothing exceptional. "Nice" crisp architecture. Average, nothing special coasters. Why is this 33 and Heroes by him 49? Heroes had better coasters, better architecture, and an EXCITING CONCEPT. Ya, it wasnt just a 4 corners park with a lake in the middle, it had something unique...that is, it was based around heroes.

Dunsmuir was not special, at all, and didnt deserve to be on da list.

Legens West is also a '4 corners' park, and has practically the same classic altantis, medieval, western +mexico/other selection of themes. Yet both of them have fantastic architecture, balance, coasters and atmosphere. Compare that to a park that has 'unique' ideas which are just thrown together, and you see why a park like Dunsmuir is respected. I think maybe your problem is you don't look hard enough - you see the 4 corners, you see the themes and you think 'why look at this when there are others like it?'. Remember, every similar park has its own style, and even if you think it's a boring old concept, time and effort is put into perfecting it.

    I like it.

Nice choices. Pity about Mountain Beach not being in there.

Well I think you should rate it by how many parks a parkmaker has on the list.... :yup:
