this is what I've settled on nin, the wild west fence in back with the steel in front. keeps the open window feel and thicker, more load bearing appeal with the overlay =)

Hmm, okay, now maybe place the pole object (in the benches, signs, etc. tab?) on the corners, make it brown to blend in. Or not, but that's all I suggest now. It's looking pretty legit.

Fizzix the stuff on the left side is amazing.

I need some more opinions, which one do you guys like better? Personally I prefer the one on the right but I would like some more thoughts.

@Maverix: I would use the right one!

I like both planes but the one on the left looks more aesthetically pleasing to me. Also are they your final supports? One of them is going through the coaster.

Thanks for the comments! The left building was a little rushed because I wanted to post a pic, but I think I've fixed that now.

    It looks great Fizzix.

And Comet, I don't plan on doing anything with it since it was just for fun, but who knows.

    Here's my take on NCSO.

Sure, back then there was no choice. But now...you're dissing EVERYONE that ever took the time to create a piece of scenery for you to use. Be nostalgic all you want...and, I appreciate some of the NCSO efforts. I just don't see how you'd want to not utilize what's available. I know...it's more "challenging". Thing is, VERY few people can make it look good and even then.....it's never going to be what it could be.

    well said.

i don't understand it either. most ncso parks look horrible and the few that look good only look good based on the fact that you're limiting yourself. it's almost backwards, how after custom scenery becomes the norm, that people are now going back to ncso because one person happened to make it work for them. hopefully it'll be a quick fad.

makes you wonder how many people would have gone back to LL if it weren't for custom scenery. rct2 without custom scenery is an ugly version of LL in my opinion.

but of course, it's just a game and i get that. but if one of these ncso parks get sent in, then what? i guess that's a different discussion for a different time.

^ncso for me isn't about making a good looking park. for me it is just about old fashioned, plain fun, without any of the worries or in some ways pressure of the "ne style". of course I still love working within the realm of "ne style" but I can understand why many people would want to cast it aside, at least for a little while. for the same reasons, however, i sometimes feel advertising ncso is silly and a waste of time just because it isn't the best looking stuff (although having a ncso design I am a bit of a hypocrite, although I didn't make it to submit, and only decided when I was done). although I do know nin has got ncso down, that doesn't change my opinion.

RMM, you also say the other way I feel about ncso. alot of the buildings look ugly and basic (and the different walls and elements often look unaligned and bad), and the same could be done in LL but better, because, well, because its LL. in many ways LL is just as detailed as ncso, in fact more so, and it still delivers that feeling of fun, and I hesitate to say easy, building. and besides that, LL delivers atmospheres that in many ways can't be done in rct2. the only notable park I can come up with off the top of my head that captures such an intense atmosphere is Turtle's Myst.

so basically what I'm saying is this, if you can't be bothered to read: ncso is fun. I know. but I would hesitate to advertise some, unless you really know its good- its easy to go wrong and. if you want the same experience as ncso, go LLLL. You can purchase a new copy on Amazon for $2, if you don't already have one. Even if you don't want to build LL, buy it anyway, there are so many amazing things you are missing.

back on subject: I think it looks a bit crowded, fizzix. scrap that blocky 3x2 building in the middle and fill with more of that garden or a fountain or even more path and I would like it more.

EDIT: the AD is slowing down recently. its time for a fieeeeessssstaaaaaaaaa
