you're living under a fucking rock if you found out about disturbed through a riyl link. And gir, I found Disturbed at Barns & Noble. In the music section they have a thing where you can search for any CD ever made, and I was looking at Metallica's more recent material. Then you have the Similiar Music button, and that took me to a list that had Disturbed on it.

I like living under my rock, thankyou. My rock is nice and cozy. It also has a poster of Jimi Hendrix like the one in my avatar. -

She had the summer's smile with winter's skin; she moved
A silloutte to serenade the soul
She spoke with words beyond me and slowly i pulled away to receive a gesture implying an answer i didnt have
So I then smiled
Responding alarming "Yes"
Her hands were the first that id ever felt; she breated
Her lips hid her tongue from the world; she danced
To the doors, endearing, she carried me
"What's your name?" conceding "Ms. Leading"
She kindly suggests
To her room
To rest my head
So i smiled responding unalarming "yes"
Where's her heart?
Mimicking the matriarch...
He's naive; blissfully ignorant and
Trusting but now?
Step right in. Let her hips guide your desire
Hey kid get a job
The have ways to satisfy what you require
Touch, taste, feel
Two times, the dime
But the perks are more than price and the guarantee is clean
We know what the men all want and they know it isnt free
Her history is left behind
The ignorance has room to breathe
They'll play a part and act a scene
The prejudice and the guilty...
Take a chair, youre not alone
The beds your home tonight
Hey kid get a job
Wait right there
Well magnify and maximize your inner fire
Touch, taste, feel
Two times, the dime
Cause if you boys are nice, the ladies here are clean
We know what the men all want
And they know it isnt free
Her history is left behind
The ignorance has room to breathe
They'll play a part and act a scene
The prejudice and the guilty..

I was staring out the window
The whole time he was talking to me
It was a filthy pane of glass
I couldn't get a clear view
As he went on and on
It wasn't the outside world I could see
Just the filthy pane that I was looking through
So I had to break the window
It just had to be
Better that I break the window
Than him or her or me
I was never focused on just one thing
My eyes got fixed when my mind got soft
It may looked like I'm concentrated on a very clear view
But I'm as good as asleep
I bet you didn't know
It takes a lot of it away if you do
So I had to break the window
It just had to be
Better that I break the window
Than him or her or me
So I had to break the window
It just had to be
Better that I break the window
Than him or her or me
Because the fact in fact
Whatever's in front of me is covering my view
So I can't see what I'm seeing in fact
I only see what I'm looking through
I had to break the window
It just had to be it was in my way
Better that I break the window
Then forget what I had to say
So again I've done the right thing
I was never worried about that
The answer's always been in clear view
But even when the window's clean
I still can't see for the fact
That when it's clean it's so clear
I can't tell what I'm looking through
So I had to break the window
It just had to be
Better that I break the window
Than him or her or me
I had to break the window
It just had to be it was in my way
Better that I break the window
Then forget what I had to say
I had to break the window
It was in my way
Better that I break a window
Then forget what I had to say
Or miss what I should see
Or breaking him or her or me -

Thought that I’d be happy
Going to be so happy
Living life alone and never sharing anything
Thought that I was finished
Thought that I was complete
Thought that I was whole instead of being half of something
Thought that I was growing
Growing older, wiser
Understanding why this world held nothing for my spirit
Thought that I was destined
Destined to be nothing
Destined to be nothing in this world and then I met you. -

What a beautiful face
I have found in this place
That is circling all round the sun
What a beautiful dream
That could flash on the screen
In a blink of an eye and be gone from me
Soft and sweet
Let me hold it close and keep it here with me, me
And one day we will die
And our ashes will fly from the aeroplane over the sea
But for now we are young
Let us lay in the sun
And count every beautiful thing we can see
Love to be
In the arms of all I'm keeping here with me, me
What a curious life we have found here tonight
There is music that sounds from the street
There are lights in the clouds
Anne's ghost all around
Hear her voice as it's rolling and ringing through me
Soft and sweet
How the notes all bend and reach above the trees, trees
Now how I remember you
How I would push my fingers through
Your mouth to make those muscles move
That made your voice so smooth and sweet
Now we keep where we don't know
All secrets sleep in winters clothes
With one you loved so long ago
Now he don't even know his name
What a beautiful face
I have found in this place
That is circling all round' the sun
And when we meet on a cloud
I'll be laughing out loud
I'll be laughing with everyone I see
Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all, at all -

From the Smashing Pumpkins' Glass and the Ghost Children.
to the center of the earth
or anywhere god decides
full of fever pulling forth
we hear our call as all
and to the center of the earth
as if written in
dna is reaching out
to your frequency
i want to live
don't want to die
i want to live
i want to try
all in prayer
prayer in all
all are scared
scared of all
black rooms are calling
to men in leather coats
white labs are cooking
up the silver ghost
the glass migrates under
her translucent skin
and all the spiders wonder
what we've got us in
all is you
you are all
all with you
you in all
i want to live
i don't want to die
i want to live
i want to try
so beats the final coda
of our vinyl storm
one more cherry cola
to lift up her dead arms
a dream of soft focus sunsets
filters through the din
we are losing contact
as she dials it in
she can hear glass calling
or someone who looks just like him
she eyes tv reflection
and nods a knowing look
she says it doesn't matter
she'd never liked her looks
i have seen a thousand fractures
i have seen everything
cause knowing is its own answer
love something in a book
there's not much left to ponder
not much left to cook
as she counted the spiders
as they crawled up inside her
as she counted the spiders
as they crawled up inside her
as she counted the spiders
as they crawled up inside her
as she counted the spiders
as they crawled up inside her
as she counted the spiders
as they crawled up inside her
as she counted the spiders, oh

From Beck's Cancelled Check.
I hate to do this
But you're a pain in the neck
I thought you knew this
You're handing me a canceled check
You're so helpless
Your girlfriends think you're a saint
I'll give you a quarter
I'll keep my judgements to myself
And I get caught up
In the moonlight
Reaching out for a rotten egg
I don't want to beg
It's crystal clear
Your time is nearly gone
Count your blessings
And do the things that you should
O the has-beens
That never had it so good
Stormy weather
The kids are making a racket
In the wilderness
The wild lives are so mild
And I get caught up
In the moonlight
Reaching out for a rotten egg
I don't wanna beg
It's crystal clear your time is nearly gone
Awe
And I get caught up
In the moonlight
Reaching out for a rotten egg
I don't wanna beg -

My friend likes Lamb of God.
For obvious reasons, I don't listen to them, but they have a song called "One Gun." It is about killing GWB, but the lyrics can be applied to any situation. I always think of Saint Paul Hill when I hear him play it.
Especially the lines
"It's when murder is justice that martyrs are made,
A one gun salute to the new Independence Day"
And also the into to their song Omerta:
"Whoever appeals to the law against their fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of themsevles without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailiant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor."
I also like most Christian metal lyrics. -

the word 'god' is in the title. that's why.
my favorite line from any song has always been 'now that you're all grown up, i know a shortcut back' from Nursery, Academy by Tokyo Police Club. -

I thought I was well-known around here as "the stupid redneck fundy hick fucktard backwards caveman." Good for me, I'm not. Anyways, LoG's name is a blasphemy.
