...and every building is so "extreme", like consisting only of glass or only of blocks etc. I think you should try to mix it up a little.
I disagree. While I can see how you can be under such an assumption. It's simply not true. There are plenty of structures that use a mixture of materials. To name a few... The Rocket Jet's 1000 structure has glassroofing, marble walls, awnings, building blocks and steel block roof.
Same for a monorail station... The roof is primarily the building blocks with steps, glass roofing, steel and marble walls
and a multi-attraction facility uses awnings, glass walls & tunnel objects. Fence materials, diagonal building blocks and Steel walls.
Even Spaceship Earth has a glass facade entrances, together with building blocks in the sphere, and the diagonal building blocks for the legs.
Ground Zero is a tower structure created with beemer track, abstract glass walls and roofing, And the base is diagonal building blocks, and assortment of building blocks & walls.
Space Mountain, although primarily awnings, also uses diagonal building blocks and glass wall panels. Antennas are made of Vertical Crossbar Supports.
Captain Eo is made of marble walls, crossbar supports, glass walls, 1/4 and full tile building blocks.
The structure for the Incredibles coaster is made of walls, full tile blocks, glass walls, and glass roofs.
Sorry to have to point all this out... But the idea that I don't use mixed materials to create my structures, is just blatantly wrong.I suggest that you look closely the next time you make a blanket statement like this.

I don't know what's going on here, but it looks like a bunch of random structures thrown around a circular pathway
Some of the structures are pretty nice though -

You're not fooling anyone either Wolfpup. This is definitely not on my most anticipated list. And good luck emailing it to me, as you can't find my address anywhere.
As for comments: I completely agree with Comet. The Stitch is cool too. -

I've been experiencing a problem.
Whenever I use Zero Clearance, the full size trees start to flicker. It's usually effects the top half of the trees. But I've also noticed that other large scenery objects are effected the same way.
I haven't figured out a way for the flickering to stop, other than replacing the effected scenery. I'm sure that this may have been noticed in a few images, where the trees are only partially "there". Like someone cut them in half, or lopped off the top half or so.
So to save myself from having to replace every tree in the park, numerous times, I'm keeping the foliage down to smaller objects like bushes, shrubs and gardens, until I am past the point of using ZC.
I know that this makes the landscaping look sucky. I've been told this many, many times. But I'm not going to waste my time, deleting every tree and replacing every tree. Put yourself in my shoes, just once. Would you go through replacing every tree? I wouldn't. So I don't bother placing them until last.
Now that I've explained it, yet again, I would appreciate that the same complaint does not keep coming back over and over. I know it looks bad. But this is mentioned way too often. -

I wanted to know that the other site where ya have this is down. That being--RCT Gold. Having said that, I am highly interested by this park and can't wait for the next post! -

Once again, close out the version of 8 cars that you're using, open a different version and restore clearances with that version. It will get rid of the 'flickering' objects. You'll probably have to do this repeatedly but it will work. And NEVER save your game while the objects are doing that.Edited by K0NG, 09 October 2009 - 03:17 PM.

Alright. A new structure, and a very large prop.
Don't tell me. Let me guess,
the structure's too boxy.
Yeah, I'll work on it today, ok?
It's mostly supposed to be funny anyway.
So shut up and laugh, D*mmit!

If I enclose it. You can't see the joke... Right? You are going to enclose that.. right?
If you use invisible scenery mode, it all disappears... Right?
