Im guessing the drop has brakes to add thrill like a b&m dive machine. there is about 6 inversions in those videos plus a few zero g rolls i believe. i see an inverted top hat, that obnoxious banked turn, norwegian loop, immelmann, and that corkscrew. so yeah your probably right about the 7 or 8 inversions roomie.

I would love to ride this. The paint job is neat as well. The only thing that concerns me is the car getting stuck in that "top hat" element similar to Top Thrill Dragster in the past. http://www.youtube.c...?v=U9U16LtHAGg. The vertical lift seems to have a holding brake element that i believe would provide some serious negative g's for the over banked drop. -

I don't think it would be physically possible for a train to stall in that inverted top hat.
Or at least it would be a one in a million chance. -

^It's possible, but as you said a one in a million chance. This seriously looks like one F***ed up ride and damn it I want one here in the US. -

The element looks like a cobra roll that isn't completely rolled or an overbanked overbanked turn. -

That thing has so many inversions! Also, note there is a barrel roll before the launch. Here is an animation POV-

I counted 7 inversions - 6 if u dont count the tophat/cobra roll thing. That's a lot for a eurofighter! Hopefully, we'll get one in America! -

The new element is officially called a "dog tongue" just so you guys stop calling it the "cobra roll thingy" -

Holy damn. That looks awesome! The "dog tounge" is an interesting new element. <
I wish I could go to Japan. A launched eurofighter. Interesting, but not new. Still, I like the layout. -

I posted a long photo trip report from my November trip to Fuji-Q over at TPR here. In short, Takabisha was one of the best looping coasters I've been on (up there with Maverick and the 4Ds), with lots of hangtime and a uniquely cool combination of inversions. However, I'd say the drop rated worse than most of the other vertical drop coasters I've been on.
My next trip update will include culture and the Studio Ghibli Museum.
