and it's WW scenery... I'd say try what robbie did with the trackitecture rockwork for this specific area...
  • Disney Imagineer%s's Photo
I personally don't see any problem with the rockwork used here. The entire area in that last screen is clean and organized. He's got the nice different colored path used for the queue line that differentiates from the brown one used for the land itself. I see where you were going with the fences, but they're a little tall. I wish they were a little shorter, but then again I'm not in the game right now so I don't know if there is a shorter option for those.

The raft hut is really neat. I like how you did the roofing; makes it interesting. Beautiful archy in the first and second screens as well.

    Wonderful.

Amazing composition and macro-play, FOR ONCE on this site. Very high balance quality of high and low details. Good colours, great exposure of individual features. I get sucked into this just from the screens alone. Really looking forward to this one.

And I think the rock object is perfect.

I think your work is the perfect combo of big idea building but with just the right hint of detail. No nonsense like diagonal paths or other such fiddle faddle, just the core bits needed for incredible atmosphere . This here folks is the style that will save us from motivation killing uber-detailism.

oh man that overview is amazing...

    Wonderful.

Awesome! I was looking for a new update on this.

I'm glad you've brought Pooh's Hunny Hunt to the park, but I'm not sold on the queue just yet. It's almost there I think, it just looks a little too rustic and dark and not whimsical enough. It looks like it's in the Frontierland setting rather than Fantasyland. Still, top notch stuff. I'm loving the custom book, too.

The overview really does look epic. It seems Tomorrowland is the only thing that's not close to completion! Is there a Splash Mountain on this map? That's one ride I'd like to see you tackle, dude! Keep it up!

I agree about the queue, but I'm going to leave it as is right now. I was actually going to place PHH close to Frontierland for the bear-bear connection (Country Bears would have been right around the corner) but that's not how it worked out. I'll tweak it a bit later. I'm having too much of a blast on the Alice rides right now.

Tomorrowland and Liberty Square are the only two lands left. I haven't touched Tomorrowland since v2 so all of that will change soon. There's no Splash Mountain on the map but I may do it on a separate map once the main park is done.

This is really amazing. That overview is enchanting!

This is just so macro. I can't handle it.

I'll have to agree with Steve about the queue line, and the facade isn't doing any justice either. It looks so subpar compared to everything else.
  • disneylandian192%s's Photo
Lose the bit of red roof on the peter pan facade and it'll be flawless. Not sure how I feel about the placement of PHH right across from Pinocchio, plus the facade for poo looks like my ass before a tan. Ironic.

Loving this though, Posix asked for more macro and this is as good as it gets.

I've got no idea what this macro is ya'll are talking about.
