It's because white track isn't as much of an 'eyesore' to the residents around the park. That's why all of the coasters in that back area of the park are white but the rest of the park isn't, the back is closer to houses/more visible.

Christ, that is sick.

I love how they have basically got a pretzel loop (not the flyer kind) there with that dive loop/immelmann combination.

 

Also is it just the angle or is the zero-g totally different to any other on an invert, looks much tighter.

B&M changed their Zero-G-Roll design a little while back. but they've not build many inverts since then. Looks similar to Phaethon at Gyeongju World

 

The older ones were much flatter as seen on Katun

B&M building a family coaster at Happy Valley in China. Expected to be very very similar to the Vekoma SFC layout (see Grona Lund and Fun Spot USA)

Officially RSVP'd for Banshee's media day yesterday.  I shall be live tweeting the event much like I did last year with Gatekeeper.  Very thankful I don't have class on Thursday's this semester so I can attend  

A little odd

Kinda short and... boring?  Where is this?

It's the B&M version of the Vekoma Junior Suspended coaster. I believe it's at Happy Valley Shanghai but it could be one of the other Happy Valley's. 

 

But yeah, odd that they went for B&M, and even more so that B&M were willing to completely rip Vekoma off.

You are correct though. Although there are a few minor differences

 

 

The B&M version crosses under and over before the turn around where as the Vekoma doesn't. The helix is a little different too.

Yeah there are a few differences but they're differences on the same level as someone ripping the melody of a song off and slightly changing the beat to get away with it. I just don't really know why B&M would be willing to do something like this.

Because they were clearly asked for that exact layout by the park.

 

They aren't exactly going to turn around and say, no, we aren't going to do it.
