Theme Park Discussion / Roller Coaster Draft 2 Euro/Aussie Group

You know there is this thing called personal opinion, right?

I do agree with Louis on that one, although I believe Avalanche to be a shitty ride.

Quick yes, but still bullshit :D

  • Louis!%s's Photo

I've not ridden Heide's but comparing the POV's Avalanche's looks like it has more speed, plus it doesn't have an annoying MCBR to slow shit down :p

Regardless, I wanted a Bob with some immersive theming to round out my draft, I had 6 other choices I could have picked that weren't a Bob :p

    MCI its your pick :)

Not quiet, FredD is next :D

  • FredD%s's Photo
Bobbahn in EP is just plain boring, going as fast as a toddler on a tricycle. Avalanche was surprisingly good. But Heide's Bob is still my favorite bobcoaster.

For the lact coaster, I pick Twisted Colossus - Six Flags Magic Mountain.

    Freds Ultimate Coaster Kingdom
Outlaw Run - Silver Dollar City
Top Thrill Dragster - Cedar Point

    Black Mamba - Phantasialand
    Prowler - Worlds of Fun
X2 - Six Flags Magic Mountain
Bizzarro - Six Flags New England
    Divertical - Mirabilandia
    iSpeed - Mirabilandia
Twisted Colossus - Six Flags Magic Mountain

Cocoa has selected Winja's via a PM. He wants me to tell ya'll they are supposedly they are the best spinners but he doesn't personally know. :p

    Faas - you are up

  • Louis!%s's Photo
One side of winjas was great, the other not as good.

Mack spinners are better, well Toverlands is!
  • MCI%s's Photo

Winjas Fear is really good, but I find Dragons Fury in Chessongton to be far superior.

And yes, as Louis said Dwervelwind is awesome.

When it comes to spinners, nobody beats Maurer! Dragon's Fury and Tarantula are the best, though the best ride I had on a spinning coaster was on Hankatten in BonBonLand (a Gerstlauer). It spinned as crazy...

    Dwervelwind is boring.

    Nobody picked Formula Rossa yet?!
  • Louis!%s's Photo

    Dwervelwind is perfect.

No matter what ride, how many people on the train, who was in the car, the weather, time of day, nothing made a difference, every ride was superb. Because it is designed in such a way.

Maurer Sohne's are great, there's no denying that, but there is every chance you can have absolute crap ride and every chance you can have an amazing ride. You get an amazing ride, they are fantastic, you get a crap ride, its just dull. That's why I think Mack's are much better.

Dwerveldwind didn't spin almost the times I rode it. I think that possibility to have a crap ride goes for every spinning coaster. Sorry Louis, but except for Dizz the most boring rides on a spinning coasters I got were on Mack spinnings (Euromir doesn't even spin naturally).

Hey Faas, who should we vote on?
  • Rofl%s's Photo

    caudceO.jpg

You have a bad day and you want to go out? Maybe with some friends and their kids? Then Rofl Park is the place for you. Every coaster is never the same. Do you want to go back in time? Ride the "Rodelbaan", the oldest known Steel Coaster in the world. Do you want to ride a coaster with a great story? Then the "Baron 1898" is there for you! But do you want to beat your kids in a racer coaster? Try the "Joris en de Draak". This park is the Rofl Park.

    Vote Rofl!

Don't know if I can post this already, but Faas did, so I thought its okay.

     (Euromir doesn't even spin naturally).

I wouldn't count Euro Mir as a spinning coaster. It is just a showcase of what they can do with their spinning coasters.
