I've never played SRT but I looked up some screens.

I agree, that'd be pretty cool for RCT.

Don't be surprised if it looks exactly the same as before, for the most part.

I picture something like Warcraft3. The game will probably still be isometric, just as it has always been.

The push to 3D geometry instead of simply images might be another method of protecting their game. Remember back when they released a couple patches for RCT1 that temporarily broke the hacks? This might be the same kind of thing. Not only that, but designing objects in 3D is much more difficult than making a 2D bitmap that happens to look good.

Maybe Chris just decided to team up with Dark Helmet! 

Man, oh man, would that be nice. I'd love to get paid for all my time and energy spent on RCTGL

Speaking of RCTGL, I know there haven't been any updates in a while, but I am still working on it. I recently got my hands on some nice version control software, so it's a lot easier for me to work on the code now.

Great - another game I can't play 'coz my computer is fucking slow.
