Brits gave us some good TV though.  Mr. Bean, Who's Line, American Idol, and most recently The Office..

..and don't forget Teletubbies.

Anyone gonna see it? I kinda want to just because Gibson is such a great actor, and could make the death of jesus spectacular. As well i want to see if it really is antisemitic.

Gibson is just the director. James Cavaziel is playing Jesus.

I plan to see it and I've heard that regardless of the subtitles, you don't need them to know whats going on. It won't be like religious films either, because this is not done by a religious company or anything. Movies by Christian film productions are often times rather corny.
Secondly, Jesus did not "damn" God. His comments were on the fact that God had turned His back on Jesus. I.e. Jesus died for all mankind, bearing the sins of the world on his shoulders (1 Peter 2:24) Jesus' words were on a spiritual level, and there has been MUCH deliberation on this subject by many different people. Anyone remember the film The Last Temptation of Christ? The soundtrack by Peter Gabriel is called Passion, and it makes great sex music!

I'm not one much for Jesus themed movies, since my lack of following Christianity (or organized religions in general) pretty much means Jesus means nothing to me, though he may for you.
