Most Memorable Moments: Being a cock-a-doodle-doo-a-doodle-doo-a-doodle-doo, acting like a cockey little shit and taking on Moonspoon and others and having my arse kicked. Virginia Historic Park by Mike Robbins. Download is at the RCT Masters site (link in my sig).I can't remember the name, but it had 'Virginia' in it. It had some sweet duelers in the park, and is still one of my favorite parks.
Original Forum Name: JeriandMike at Danimation. Changed shortly afterward to Mike Robbins.
Original Forum: The AOL RCT message board. This is where I met Steve Franks, Cav, and Red Phoenix.
When you Joined: This was shortly after the game came out in the spring of 1999.
First Park Download - (if you first downloaded something from rollercoastertycoon.com see below: Something from the official site probably.
First download not from Rollercoastertycoon.com: Not sure. Probably a trainer to enable all rides, scenery, and cash.
How you found the community: Probably an engine search. Been too long to remember.
First sites you reguarly browsed: Danimation and Cav's RCT Depot.
Most Memorable moment:
1. Becoming a staff member at Cav's RCT Depot.
2. Seven Wonders of the World getting 10,000 downloads in the first three months.
3. Red Phoenix asking if he could put my parks on his new site, RCT Station and then becoming a staff member shortly after.
4. Myths, Legends, & Folklore. Probably the funnest park to make and my proudest achievement (with Mick D.)
5. Knowing that I inspired many a noobie long ago with my old parks and knowing that I am one of the pioneers of the RCT community. -

Was it about RUPE or before that? I know the RUPE review was priceless. Of course, I had no idea at the time I was getting flamed by some kid four years younger than I was, or I might have been a little mad. Most Memorable moment: probably my very, very, very, very, very, very, very first review back at Danimation. the discussion started by that was absolutely priceless!
As it was, it caused some great outroar. Good times. -

First Park Download - Likely a competition winner for steel twisters from the official site. Other than that, I think it was Appalachia (or Sun Set Drive-In) from RCT Enterprise...I can't remember the exact name of the site at the moment, but I think that's it.
How you found the community: Was looking for a blank bench to build a mega park on from scratch. Found D-Net, RCTOA, Skeg's, Chocobogo's, Enterprise, Station, etc... this way...eventually got over the fact I'd never used a message board and joined the Station's.
First sites you reguarly browsed: Station, D-Net, RCTOA, Coaster-Net, RCT Fun
Most Memorable moment:
Ahhh...many:
Joining the boards to begin with was big enough...probably spammed a bit those first weeks, and remember being forever linked with the missing Water Monkey, as I surfaced when he left and happened to choose the Statler (cartoonish version) avatar. Go figure...
Releasing some of my first parks on 9/10, which got ignored due to the next day's tragic events.
Joining RCTM and then eventually running it (which was NOT the plan). Despite that, it's been fun organizing such a large group and working together...I've made many friends this way from all over the world....who knew! Toxic and Klamath are two of my fave park making experiences, which wouldn't have happened if RCTM didn't exist.
Making Glasshouse...likely something I'll never accomplish again due to time constraints (unless the park takes 2 years to make), I enjoyed every second of creating something different, and at the same time as the dreary Toxic. Love it or hate it, the colors made it fun for me.
Mama Bear's tribute park for Gavin. A shocker for sure, it was very kind of her to dedicate such effort to our newborn son. Thanks Mama!
Gazza missing. I still miss him...both in game aspects and sheer presence on the boards. The community lost a bit of levity with his departure. Long live Gary Pothead!
 <-to future memories...

Micool Offline
Original Forum Name: Micool (fuck this is getting old...luckily I have my alias John Handcock at Dnet, haha)
Original Forum: Tycoon Resource
When you Joined: Nov 2001 I think but I'd been browsing the Resource and the Station all that year
First Park Download - One of the contest entries at The Resource...ah, good times, sometimes I wish I had been at Dnet in those days but the Resource was good times too. If anyone knows "squiggles" or "BigBigDave" or "Sarah" or "James" or "Pat2002", put me in touch. :-P
How you found the community: Probably an accident. I was never much of a gamer, so I didn't really know an internet community existed, so I thrived on scenarios for years. But, I was an internet junkie even then...trying to make websites and shit...(Check this out...)
First sites you reguarly browsed: Mostly the resource...for some reason, in those days, the Station only worked like half the time with that red skin...at times I wouldn't be able to get the site, and sometimes I could. So I didn't join those forums until shortly after the very first survivor, whenever that was. I don't know, it's all warped. Found Dnet in early 2002 but didn't know they even had forums I guess. Funny thing really. Oh well.
Most Memorable moment: Oh gosh, I don't know. All my old club days were fun. (rct united, rct advanced, rct elite, rct ultimate...then I declared I was done with the club thing...til I realized I could be in rctm. I had always wanted to get into rctm. In fact, I tried to get in before I got in rct united...haha, good times) All those old group parks at the Resource were awesome, I still think they're great today, cos there was so much fun put into it. But my favorite two moments have to be downloading "Citrus Springs", a spotlight at RCPro, and gaping at it for weeks. I loved those spotlights to death, all the roboparks ones were so awesome to me. And then downloading UIX when there were 3 or 4 spotlights up at the site, I was so amazed...good times again. -
