It looks to me that you're having just a bit of trouble utilizing the scnery that you have. Because I know you can build better than this...

I do like the screen, but the architecture could be much better. Those designs could work IMO, but you haven't made them work. Right now the screen is too boring. It sort of looks like the castles people were making when RCT2 came out.

Basicly I think it needs more colors, textures, etc, to break up the monotonous gray... And the foliage by the buildings is just to boring... you know how to make it better.

Good luck on this park, I'm looking forward to seeing it finished.

The architecture really reminds me of NC's stuff, which is okay other than the fact that this theme as already been done a million and a half times.  The landscaping is decent, as well as the foliage, however I find much of the rock land awkwardly jagged in places. The one thing that also bugs me about the architecture is the windowed castle walls that aren't flush; creates quite a distraction.  I really like that wood pagoda thing towards the bottom with the diagonal scenery, thats awesome.  Overall a nice screen ride6, but nothing to really rave about.

Nah, that's just because of the pink and wooden roofs ;) .

I actually like it seemingly a lot more than other people. It seems that in this screen you set out to build to a theme instead of thinking of one after the something was built, and in doing that the accuracy here is much improved. I'm not a fan of every single little detail in the screen, but I do admire the feel of an actual castle instead of a section that has 50 miniature castles in it that somehow constitute as a "castle section". Toon's scenery may have come in handy, but it is refreshing to see how things can be made in a different way and look different while keeping the same idea in mind. It really reminds me of a couple of British castles I've visited with the interior as you've made it, but I feel that the entering pathway theming is a little weak. I don't mean to add unnecessary objdata to it, but just to try some things out such as taking away those wooden supports with the plants on top and either leaving it or put something else there afterwards.

Other than that, I say that it is something that Busch would definitely do, the castle itself wouldn't operate if it were real but it is considered very good theming for a real theme park, something Busch is known for obviously. My only other suggestions would be to try to remove the wall inconsistancies by placing the walls on the outside as well as on the inside or just don't use that window method where it sticks out, maybe not use those portcullis(sp?) doors as windows over the entering path, and to make the ornamental trees look more organized like they were planted specifically for that spot as they really would be. But please, don't add scenery to the walls just to make it look more complex becuase it would deride from the accuracy which in my eyes would ruin it completely. I wasn't really a fan of this park before to tell you the truth, but your improvement escalates this one on my parks I want to see completed list. Great job!

I like the new pic. The walls of the castle are alittle boring, but there is nothing really wrong with the architecture, and the flowers, and foliage look wel done, IMO.

If u could build LL stuff similar to the last screen that would be nice. I agree with Posix, LL.

    Just bringing the screen over.

I just can't get LL to hold my attention somehow, otherwise I would build in it. Thanks for those of you who liked it. I will change some of the enterence stuff and I'll check a few details to make sure it's how I want it.

I planned out this theme far before I started working on it and Toons entry in round 1 of QFTBX was an inspitation to say the least, however I don't have access to that sceanery in this park so for now we'll have to suffer with the older stuff. :)

ps- This park is now at about 65% so it shouldn't be more than two months now.

    Very nice.

Sorry to bump this without an update, however I'm in need of Testers.

I'll need anywhere from 2-5 of you depending on who and how many of you sign up. I would prefer that you be opinionated about rct and knowlengable about rct2, that why you can help by giving me more specific recomendations for improvement. I would also prefer that you be a relitively prominent member in the community (basically I have to know you from the boards).

    Any takers?

I'd take a look at it ride6....I'd give you a really in-depth review of the park, mostly the theming, because coasters aren't really my forte (yet)....

    I'll go for it too.

    Why all this 'testing' recently??
Why would you have people say what they don't like about your park?
I've always wondered this so called 'testing'... I've let people test some of my parks in the past, but I don't know exactly why I did that. And why I changed what they disliked...
To me it seems more important you like your own stuff, and if you don't like it, change what you think must be changed...

    SF :)

^ Because he, like everyone else, wants long reviews from people...

    Duh...

I agree Six Frags, I think the purpose of 'testing' a park is not to nessecarily give an opinionated or critical review of the park content, but more to make sure that basic aspects of the park are in order before the release, such as missing or misplaced scenery, ride/stall names, that kinda thing....A 'park review' is more of an in-depth critical review of the park's actual artistic value, which I think is what ride6 is asking for here.

But can't you do that by yourself?
I mean, before I release a park of myself, I always check it for any faults, and check it again and again....

It's more to see if I agree with them. If they point out something they want changed and if I think it should be as well, it will be.

    K?

And I would like at least a couple lines of review that gives me an idea of what you like and don't.

Finally I WILL NOT tair apart a whole area because a couple people "don't like it".

ps- If you're in you're about to get a PM from me asking for your e-mail.
