And even though you can make the argument that those are usually the 'weaker' rounds, so what? At least they kinda mix things up a little to keep the prelims a little more interesting...

What do you guys think about this?
I think we should have some specific theme prelim rounds, so that a real "winner" can shine through. Although, broad and general prelim themed rounds have worked in the past, I think we need to mix it up a bit.
"Best Kiddie Themed Ride"
"Best War Zone Themed Ride"
etc. etc.
Although specific, they are broad enough to pull in all kinds of different entries. For example the "Best War Zone Themed Ride" can range from a pirate water ride, to a WWII adventure ride. I guess what I am trying to say is, bring back the best hotel round
...PT3 has to start while my computer's FUBAR.
I'll rush something for the Beemer round if I can get a working PC...

Also yes I did condense the prelims as people can get in with designs and RUs. If you want to make a hotel or funny park I guess I could except them in the wildcard round.
I might enter, as well. I'd rather you not change my status though.
1) RCT3 entries accepted?
2) Hey all
Go for it.
Sorry, no RCT3.

Oh, and by the way: If our "Adventure Ride" is a dark ride, should the judge(s) be able to see on the inside? And what exactly qualifies as an "Adventure Ride"?

Well, yes he(they) would have to be able to see the ride by either removing the scenery or the land. And adventure rides are pretty much any kind of ride that is more theme than thrill. Like a water coaster, for instance, or Indiana Jones at Disneyland.
