I do believe X-Sector and WME are the only regular people who use Winhack in the slightest, which is why i think they are the most adventurous.
That isn't to say I don't fit more hacks into my work than them

Map 1 The lost era
Entrance Was ok. Nothing special really. abit over treed but hey that doesn't matter. I did like The rock Hotel however
Futura Abit of a small area really. I did like the coaster and that cute alien sculpture
France one of the best sections in the park. reminds me alot of S.A.K.M which I have told you about allready. The woodie was ok. I liked the layout of it.
Horror Domain I do like this area actually. some nice coasters and theming.
troposphere I don't know what it is about this area but sometimes I don't like it.

I personally like this map more.
Entrance Groovy. much better than map 1
amazonia Me liked this area very much.
CYBER Small but great. CYBER: time travel was awesome.
Water parks were great, very nicely done.
Hotels Pyro does a great job again. Parralel Hotel was groovy.
Overall I wouldn't say its the best spotlight. But still a good park/resort. Nice hacks going on there and ideas. Can't wait to your future projects because there alot better than this
the new hacks and themeing ideas were great
themeing was VERY GOOD
but i think it was a bit overtreed and, well i duno i guess i just dont really like it that much...not my style. Very realistic-like (i think..)
I love GoD and Universal Tampa a masters legend, but this didnt hit the spot.
Still a great park IMO, but maybe BARELY worth Spotlight...put it this way...it was MUCH better then IOAH

loved the water park bit, that should win spotlight on its own but the main park wasn't my favourite.
I liked the france area and alien area but the rest just didn't do anything for me
The waterpark map was twice as good as the other and had Pryo's hotel which was just awesome and had one of the best tropical atmospheres I've ever seen.
The rest was nice but too rocked and simple.
Everyone who has seen GOD will probably agree with me that it should be the park winning spotlight instead of LER.

It had some great points like Pyro's hotel, infact the whole water park was pretty cool.
I just wasn't as impressed with the actual park as nothing really stood out to me.
Nice hacks throughout though.

Maybe the other parks went above and beyond the parameters of a spotlight park? And what do you mean when you say it isn't "spotlight worthy"? I've seen that several times, and still don't understand.
You might as well elaborate in here, seeing as it's the Spotlight Discussion.
Now I know I dont choose what is and what isn't good enough to be a spotlight but this is a forum for me to express my opinions on the park and in my opinion I dont think it is spotlight worthy.
By the way the spotlight is run, it's basically the best park sent in to spotlight in that 2-round time period. LER was the best park, hence it's spotlight. You can't really say it's not "spotlight worthy" until you've seen the runner-ups, as adam actually pointed out above.
Sure, if you think that the runner-ups are better then you have every right to say that, but I think that everyone who immediately says it isn't "spotlight worthy" is jumping the gun.
Plus, the last few spotlights have all been met with the same comments - I wonder if people are getting harder to please, or whether they're just not looking hard enough. This park was original enough to satisfy the "nothing new" people, and skillful enough to stop the "sloppy" people from complaining.
Meh, this is clouded by my own personal opinion, but I hope i'm getting my message across.
Now, I dont think this is spotlight material, whether it is better then the runner ups or not. The same goes for a few of the recent past spotlights as well. In my opinion they, and their runner ups, have not been to what I would call the spotlight standard.
Other spotlights, that I feel are worthy of the spotlight title, such as Tropico Horizons, Busch Gardens Lichfield and Auroras Bay, In my opinon, are in a different league to this park and other spotlights such as, HIOA, and Meadowbrooke Falls. Therefore I say I dont find them spotlight worthy.
I think maybe to put what you, and other people, are saying into a standard, anything in the top 10 of the list or similar is worthy, but anything not quite as impressive isn't. I think that if that was true, then spotlights would be very few and far between, and you wouldn't get the variation you see as it is. I think that several people have their 'lower limit' set far too high - parks such as HIOA or MF surpass most others, and yet don't seem to have what's needed to be spotlight.
I'm just saying that because a park isn't impressive as, say, your favourite park, doesn't mean it isn't good enough for an accolade given to parks that are impressive enough to gain wide recognition.
I'll agree to differ, that's what i'm here for, but I'd just suggest people be less quick to say 'not spotlight worthy', or at least explain better what they mean. I'm glad you've taken the time to do so.
I still think the park is more then worthy of gaining wide recognition but I would like to see the spotlight become more exclusive, as it once was. When you say that spotlights would be very few and far between you act as if it is a bad thing. Personaly I see it as being good. It doesn't mean great parks wont be released it just means that truly outstanding ones will recieve a status that is, and will stay, highly exclusive.
Less spotlights would mean less reaction, and reaction is the best thing about it.
With the sleight of amazing parks being built in RCT at the moment, you'll get your treats soon enough

There will be a whopping 2 Runner-Ups to The Lost Era Resort.
Basically, I think Lost Era Resort is a very, very nice park. Is it on the level of some of the other spotlights we've had around New Element? Probably not. But I think that in order for the great ones to stick out, there have to be some good ones. It was the best park submitted in an otherwise rather dismal spotlight round, so I felt it deserved to go up. It was really the only park submitted that I felt wouldn't detract from the Spotlight title.
It still is an amazing park though, it's just that the resort map overshadows the theme park map. Still, lots of creativity all through here. The next spotlight is already picked, and I think will (hopefully) satisfy you hard-to-pleasers. But of course, I only post it after this thread gets 3 pages. I just think it's necessary so that Evil WME gets the fair amount of comments for his hard work.
I will be posting the 2 runner ups as soon as my Cable Modem returns to function, Im currently on a crap 56K Dial-Up.
You'll have to enlighten me about the new spotlight, although I have a sneaky suspicion
