How did you make the different colored staff, that is one hack I cannot do.

it isnt a hack you choose staff colour in the buy staff section

but I am disappointed that kumba didn't take the time to hack the skin color of the staff to better represent this diverse nation

so you can get both blue mechanics and red mechanics in the same park?

    Feedback time...

Fizzix - Should not be to long till I release something else. Tho I am pretty busy with work and fantasy football this time of year. Thanks for the comments.

zburns - lol, wow thanks man! Glad you liked it so much.

RamSam - Thanks, glad you noticed the details like the staff positioning at the station.

Josh - I made this just so you'd put in your RCT2 disk again, it's true :p

Goliath - 120 years should be about right. Tho sometimes I forget to pause the game and it runs for a while *shrug* Thanks for the fedback.

BelgiumGuy - Yeah I guess it's a good bench, but it really will need more object to be useful for other (B&M) designs. Good point about the trains spacing. I lower the lift speed as it was getting finished and just never upped the gap time. I would have liked to do block breaks only... I don't know how they work in RCT2. Guess I should have tried to figure it out, tho I sent to to CP6 to do them, but he said they'd need to be on the MCBR and that would make it come to a stop there and I did not want that.

Deano - Nice to see you have not forgot about us. Glad you like how I re-created it.

Verti - Thanks, and SoK idk... should have some pics up later this year. Still need a final layout done...

Roomie - Maybe he can't exactly roar, but he's surprisingly loud :p

Cena - lol, higher eh? idk I think it was to high in the first place. gl getting a 100% :mantis:

Levis - You'll see fantasy from me this year, you can likely guess where :bunny:

J K - Thanks and gl with that design, it's looking great so far ;)

Chillson & dmaxsba - Thanks guys.

Phatage - To get the overgrown look I think I would have needed more custom trees and bushes. I am fairly happy with what I did tho,k even if I could have done more. Your layout looks great, just when it comes to the buildings in the area I don't think it works. Also to get the station to work id lose the nose piece on the trains in the shoestring hack. Also no, this won't be my last release, thats a LONG way off. Thanks for the feedback, I am always fascinated by your take on RCT and most of all realistic parkmaking.

    J K - Thanks again.

That Guy - I am not the highest ranking design even, im the highest ranking release in the history of the accolade. I will be extremely humble about it as long as you guys get it right

RRP - You like something I made eh? Well there is a first time for everything I guess  Thanks

    olddtfan51 - Thanks

tdub - Thanks for the feedback. I am doing a realistic solo? News to me, tho I think I remember talking about maybe doing one. Will be a while before I start a solo and that's only "if" I do and in that case I can't even promise it would be realistic.

Posix - Thanks, just that Cobra Roll's path is at an odd angle I could not do and it's also not that close to any other paths on that map as odd as that sounds. lol @ my other stuff being worthless. I have not decided which team to join yet and may never pick. Good to know I seem to be wanted by both :kumbasgreen:

    SSSammy - That's alright, I don't think id have given it a 20 or even 19 myself.

GigaG - Thanks I guess? I am fine with this not being a spotlight tho...

rk_ - Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it so much!

Insanity - well 92.69%, but whose counting :p

Lastly lol @ the comments on the staff colors. It is a hack RRP, I made some mechanics red in addition to the main blue ones. Will not say exactly how I did it here (will in the future tho, more info on that soon...) but if you look into it it's really not that hard to figure it out. I did it in RV too on a frozen staff member, just no one really seemed to notice that.

Thanks for all the feedback. I was posting so many screens because I did not expect much feedback on the release. Nice to see I was wrong :)

    Almost impeccable..

I knew it when you started showing those screens, this is one design that everyone will end up liking. I hope you incorporate what you've learned here in your future work.. which by no means has to be realistic because this one is ;) (but I wouldn't mind, either)
  • Austin55%s's Photo
Im wondering if anyone found the hint to the unannounced project yet?
  • J K%s's Photo
Yep SoK is on it's way.
  • tdub96%s's Photo
    Son of Kumba?
  • J K%s's Photo
    Bingo.
  • tdub96%s's Photo
Wow, I cant wait to see what he does for that.
  • Ride6%s's Photo
I saw the SoK, yes. But that's not important right now.

This is, far and away, the best recreation of any ride in rct. The layout flows right, even if it's appearance isn't necessarily spot-on to reality thanks the subtle angles (of the real ride) playing against the isometric system of the medium. While I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't revolutionize the whole game in the way Phatage is suggested, you've certainly pushed realistic parkmaking to an unprecedented level of detail, feel, and accuracy.

The catwalks were absolutely beautiful throughout. Details like the control box at the beginning of the final brakes, the swinging gates (which managed to sync up with the peeps movement from time to time; I believe I actually gasped the first time I saw it), the control room over the station and the care to build the portions of the rides that were key to the area all pushed the atmosphere to insane levels. The architecture was gorgeous, graceful, incredibly fitting, and had just enough grit to really pop. The station feels like a coaster station; not a building that simply happens to serve as that. Which is incredible.

I'd give it a 19 probably, which is an impossibly high score.

Truly, a legendary design of a legendary and revolutionary coaster.
