    lol hai.

Was collecting dust. I'm still proud of the entrance and L'Avalanche, but the rest isn't great.

So here it is. Enjoy, I guess.

OMG. I was thinking about this yesterday. Shame it's not going to be finished.

Agreed. This could have ended up on the front page if it was, probably.

Thanks for the exported upload Louis.

Some great designs in there and the architecture is great albeit a bit repetitive in a few cases.

Thanks for sharing this after so long.

It had a lot of potential when it was started 2 years ago.

Agree with RCTFAN about the archy. The Beamer's MCBR pulled a bit too hard if you ask me, and they could have been a tad better, but what was there was great. The thing that caught my eye was the rapids ride. That thing had a ton of potential and it just felt really really well done. The only thing I disliked about it was how it went into a large open channel of water. I've never seen a rapids do that in real life and I think in the game it doesn't and can't work well, even with guards. I also thought the station for the standup was WAY too tall. Compared to the size of RCT peeps this had to be 12 stories or so.

Seeing this makes me loathe for the days when there were good solos in the AD getting updated frequently, now all we have is the dump-place, which is exactly what it is, a dump.

Thanks again, and it's good to see you around the forums again.

wow, the invert looks very sexy. maybe try a design next time? your coaster layouts are nice and a design isn't as much to finish.
  • RRP%s's Photo
The invert area and coaster are perfect

Thanks for the comments. It's appreciated.

Apologies about the un-exported version. I'll upload a fixed version to my host in a bit.

    Replies:
    @Steve - Funny man. I doubt it.
@Louis - Thanks much for the rehosting / screenshots.
@RRP - Coming from you, that means a whole lot. Thanks.

Good god, has it been that long?

Hit the nail on the head. I spent too much time away from the project to remember why the hell I did that with the rapids. Same with the castle/station/thing.

Frankly, I'd spent too much time on this project to finish it. My skills and style have evolved too much (compare the entrance and Switzerland.) So I just decided to be rid of it.

Seeing this makes me loathe for the days when there were good solos in the AD getting updated frequently, now all we have is the dump-place, which is exactly what it is, a dump.

    Stay tuned. ;)

Um... loathe means 'to dislike something'. I think you meant to say 'long'. Sorry, that's the English freak talking. Anyway, don't blame us for the Dump-Place, blame Gwazi. He's the one that started it. :p I actually see it as a good thing, though. Not many full scale solos are being built anymore, so it's a good place to just post a small picture of something and get a few comments. Like you said, if people started topics for everything, they wouldn't last very long.

But ACE, the park looks good. And I also agree with geewhzz: the station for the Beemer is HUGE. Too huge. The rest looked good though! It's a shame you gave up.
