I really liked the design of Intiwasi. It was probably my favorite coaster there. I didn't really care too much for the layout of Path of Isis, due to being so short, but it did fit in well with the environment and looked good. I liked some of the details in that area too. Your trees are very well done, probably because you mostly used trees that are about the same color. I think the park was seriously lacking in rides though. It seems like a lot of people have gone away from putting rides in their parks, and in this one there was about an average of two rides per section (not including the train, cause then we'd have some weird fraction). It still felt Busch-esque though, despite that.

    Anyways, it was good. Congrats.

In other news, the spotlight fades away and is known officially as the "SRU Award", becoming an urban legend retold by hobos by the light of the moonlight in Hot-lanta, 2690.

    Haha.

Thanks everyone for the great comments.

I think Busch Gardens is one of my oldest projects that got canceled and then i frew a sissy fit and returned and i had picked it up again, although i enjoyed every bit of it while i making it, now when i look back at it i notice many flaws and i know i could of done this 100x better, im not too keen on the park no more, but i feel it was a right first solo for me.

Hopefully you will see a few other solos from me soon and i know i have one in the works so we will see, its definetly better than BGE, lol.

Anyways i would like to thank Turtle, my only guest spot in BGE, i built the first half of the coaster and he finished it off.

Thanks everyone and thanks cork for the SRU, i guess i will see you soon ;)

I really liked parts of it, while others had no effect on me at all. China and Egypt were great, and your coaster design is generally excellent (especially that arrow and the woodie). I didn't really like the central bit of the map. If you produced a map up to China's standards with that level of new-looking-ness i'm sure i'd enjoy it immensely.

    It seems that way.

And where are the regular runner ups? It seems harder to get a "runner up" these day than a "super runner up". Jeez I thought the whole purpose of "runner ups" were parks that were considerible for spotlight but had some flaws or just some overall issues that held them back a bit.

We need another legendary park going through the ad motions. Something like Rob or Womb where the whole of ne is united in it's unending interest. Maybe BGSS could be it. But somehow it just seems to lack the overall excitement that parks like WOMB had. Those were parks that we wanted to see complete back when they first got advertised but then our interest grew with every update thanks to the hard work of the parkmaker to endlessly out do themselfs.

What ever happened to that Venice park x-sector had going?

What ever happened to that Venice park x-sector had going?

God only knows... I hope he didn't just cancel it... It really is increadible although he may haven over advertised it a bit. There was barely more done than what he showed.

We can always hope that he's been hacking away on it in secret and is going to to start advertising a new area soon but I think h2h has kept him a bit too busy for that.

I'm in agreement about this whole SRU/RU thing...if BGE gets a SRU then I think Milieu deserved a normal RU, especially when other 'nice but not stunning' parks have been given the accolade. If only to have more official releases, you know?

I agree about waiting for a proper spotlight, though. Nate?

I think that this reorganization of the prestige of different park awards is an admirable idea. There are two alternate things that I think could happen, however:

    1) Spotlight becomes even more sought after than before, and the quality of parks made greatly increases.
    2) There used to seem to be a notable prestige gap between Spotlight and Runner-Up when Super Runner-Ups were rare. Now that that gap is bridged or part of it occupied, it could happen that Spotlight becomes really distant and people start thinking of the far more common Super Runner Up as good enough. It's possible that after a few more SRUs are released without a Spotlight, the latter will become so high up and hard to achieve that the aspiring parkmakers might stop trying to get it because they don't think they can anyway. I don't know.

    Late response as usual.

I don't have anything new to add, as it was definitely beautiful, but the coasters were weak in my opnion. Nothing really stood out for me, even Intawasi, or whatever it was called. It was all beautiful, but none of the coasters had really solid pacing; they all kinda seemed to slowly "make its way" through the course. Next time, try to be open to growth and make more memorable rides.

    Beautiful though.
