And Posix, your link to the Beast Trainer doesn't work.

    This one works fine.

    Grrrr, they changed it.
Thanks a lot for mentioning, Silenced.

Well i've decided to make use of the map editor, but with the d/l link you provided there's no readme. So I was wondering what the different things do (especially the numbers on the right).
  • posix%s's Photo
never seen sgm come with a readme.
    and what numbers?
  • mantis%s's Photo
Well i've decided they're something to do with the path option, because they only work on that. They're the ones on the right in the map editor..one of them says X, the other Y, and below there's one saying 'PE'.

Ah well. I can't get the path editor to work anyway.

    PEP = Park entrance position
#PE = number of park entrances

    Now that makes sense. Thanks.

    numbers... ???

and the x and y you spoke of must be x and y-axis.
but where? i must be so stupid...
  • mantis%s's Photo
Well mine has a different bit on the right hand side. Maybe there's an option or something...I dunno.

You obviously need to have studied at college for atleast two years before truely understanding the maximize button then.
    :D :p

    *smirk*

oh please... why must they hide stuff? :@

Because they don't like you, Posix. But then again, I never knew that was there either. :|

After I do all of that changing with the SV4 files opening up on XP, I have an error. Well, sorta':

Windows cannot find 'C:/Documents and Settings/Andrew/Local Settings/Temp/Temporary Directory 1 for Ace Workbench.zip/Ace Workbench.SV4'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, then click Search.

Now, I'm able to open the files just fine. I opened up UIX and the Ace Workbench fine with no problem, and this error type thing pops up in the background. Is there a way to fix it?

    Thanks.

I now can't open the AceWorkbench. It says I cannot open it because I do not have access to that scenario. Is there some way I can "win" all scenarios without actually "winning" them?
I don't get it. I was able to open the file just find a few hours ago.

Use Dragons IOA trainer to win them.

Never mind. I loaded the saved game file again, and it worked. Though, I still need help with my first post in the topic.

    uninstall, reinstall.
  • Drew%s's Photo
If I do that, does that mean I need to re-do the whole thing?
  • posix%s's Photo
if you, by "whole thing", mean the installation guide, then yes.
but really, it's no big deal. i can get ll uninstall and reinstalled in mere minutes by now ;)
  • Drew%s's Photo
Hehe. I'll do that when I get home tomorrow...

Hmph, so it is here. I thought this was like a "how to play" guide. Obviously, I never actually read it.

    Thanks Posix!
