    cBass!!!! ♥!

Also, this looks like one of the most interesting things to come along in a while. While some of the ideas (monorail train doing roller coaster like layouts on railroad track) seem rather contrived, the landscape, textural qualities and use of negative space make me grin.

Best of luck to you ivo.

ps - I totally agree with nin here, and stuff like this actually makes me want to play the game rather more than the mind-blowingly detailed parts of late. :p

This is extraordinary. I might have to reinstall RCT2 to have a good look at it. It reminds me of the exciting days when people like Kai released 'Glasshouse Gardens' - when the game was about creating art.

Hmm, I could have sworn that RCT Reference Guide had a DL of it somewhere...
But as I can't seem to find it there any more, have a copy from my collection:

    Nice!

Thanks the whole preperation team for all the work. The reason I submitted this park here becuase you offer those lovely pages. In specific thanks to In:Cities for the logo (It is not that bad, I like the line-art). Sssammy for the write up which is a nice
conclusion of the topic and whoever made the overvieuw. I know how much work it takes...

I have been around this community since 2006 and it is pretty conservative in it's parkmaking. (which ain't that strange. The game was
made for attractions parks.) I was acctually surprised by the many positive reactions it has got. I expected loads reactions in the trend off RRP. I can't blame them because especcially in the beginning I gave away little what I was doing and many people didn't knew how to take it. It leaves more open for interpertation and therefore it asks a lot more from the public.

I am fairly happy with this park but I think the ad topic was way better than the actual park. I had more power in that setting. I could use different mediums to fulfill. Another thing I encountered was my own conservatism in this game. On other mediums I can start from scratch but I am playing this game for so long that I developed a building style (theming entrence huts, fences next to paths, using of paths, use of attractions). It is hard to reflect on those habbits because you are so used to this building style. It is save to say I am further progressed in other mediums.

I also love the different ways people interpret this park. It is nice to read all those different experiences, angle of incidences and reactions. I didn't build a "something" so that people had to see a house. But it is fine if they do see a house.

RRP: The only filler I am awere of are black tiles

JDP: I think your example explains that the community did progress in those years.

cBass: haha, nice comeback. What are you doing these days?

I think this got it pretty much covered. If there is anything you wan't to know. Don't hesitate to ask.

Forgot to answer the question what FantastiCo and Janus did. So...

FantastiCo made the black hole factory.

Janus made his little comeback as he promised in his PT2 topic. To bad the park was released before 2012 haha. Owh well, you can't control everything.

Thank you, again, for the replies. Much appreciated :) Your theories are very interesting, indeed. You will see new work from me, as well as hear my thoughts on the park, on the twelth of December, 2012. I promise.

ivo, very interesting to read your reflections on your own game. It's great to have someone who does so unique things with the game, whether one likes them or not.

hmm. but thank you for reminding me of this wonderful park.
Having been in Stockholm the last month now this park makes alot more sense. Kind of. All the station pieces are named after places in and around Stockholm. And the name of the coaster is Janus' birth date btw, which (together with a few more numbers) is used as personal identification number in Sweden.
Buss 179 and Vejlegatan are both in Kista which is a suburb of Stockholm.

your pt4 entries got me interested in you again, so I went back and gave this a second chance. And I have to say, I really enjoyed it this time around, especially after reading your comments about its creation. I probably was too critical the first time. There was actually a lot of really interesting sculptures and stuff around this park that made it 'more than rct'. One thing that really got me this time was you had named some peep 'me' and stuck him in a corner. obviously the peep had been there ages and was droopy and 'wanting to leave the park'. For some reason, that little detail really struck me as meaningful. Also, when it said 'nature is broken down.' while it is a bit cliche, it still felt different when rct is telling me something like that.

but yeah, I have to say I really like this now, so yay

This park honestly has some of the best grasswork on NE, just look at that patch near the river at the bottomright of the map.
