    Flying Germans:
FINALLY! Another great park by you, this is the quality that I had longed from you since the release of adventure isle. This is one of the best park I've seen I think. You executed the themes perfectly. The one thing I didn't like about this park was that it didn't contain a readme. That way all the themes and books would be way clearer. But that doesn't hold back that this park is great.

    Heaven's Kitchen:
WOW! Great park. Really all the buildings were beautiful and I got quite a laugh when seeing mary poppins and ''i'm singing in the rain''. But I don't think I really got the theme. Did you just theme a park to umbrellas or does 'la reve parapluie' have another meaning as well?

I'll wait with voting untill I'm sure what theme HK used.

Best park of the season so far.

Flying Germans park was better than their previous ones but still left a lot to be desired.

    From the ReadMe:

“Le Rêve Parapluie” (translated meaning The Umbrella Dream)

The Umbrella Maker feels his life's work and passion slipping away from him because of the advent of mass production and the Umbrella Factory... He dreams of a time gone by, a simpler time, when that personal touch was prized above all else.

I did read that but wasn't sure if you had another meaning for the park.
So technically it's a park themed to umbrellas ?

I guess you could TECHNICALLY say it's themed to umbrellas, but it has a deeper meaning.

What a great match. Maybe one of the bests this season.
Both park are great but the kitchens park was more impressive.
I loved everything in Le Rêve Parapluie. This park impressed me so much and it made a lot of fun to watch every small detail in this park. This is my favourite park this season. Congrats!
The german park was good too but against the kitchens park, uhm. Some things like the big book in the entrance area and escpecially the jules verne area made it for me but some things lack for me like the bare castle and the monotonous stuff in the london area.
Congrats to both teams for building this great parks!

Truly amazing how you manged to create such a brilliant park from something as simple as the humble umbrella. There were so many amazing things in this. All of the architecture was absolutely stunning and the house at the entrance was so good. I just loved this all over.

The Flying Germans' park was very nice. The Sherlock Holmes idea was brilliant and the house/castle as the station for Raven was utterly fantastic. Great job, but not quite enough to beat the opponent.

I don't feel the need to explain the read me further as it's pretty clear what the park is about. If you don't understand it then I can't help you.

Of course it's not themed to umbrellas, you half wit.
  • trav%s's Photo
Well...it is...But there's a 'deeper' theme to it. But you can't deny umbrellas play a big part in the theme.
  • chorkiel%s's Photo
I understand that it's not ONLY about umbrella's but I thougt that it could be some movie or book or something in that category as well. And whereas I find it a very original theme I find it weird on another hand. The theme isn't by far the only reason why I didn't vote HK. The Germans park just amused me way better.

Chorkiel, the theme (What I'd gather from it anyway) is the industrial revolution, and the introduction of heavy machinery creating less work for smaller businesses, such as the umbrella maker here. Honestly, do you think it would have been half as interesting and original if it hadn't had that little quirky side to it?

I'm not slating you for voting FG, I just don't really understand why the theme is weird.

Pay attention also to the message upon opening the park. It's a look inside the mind of an umbrella maker.

Here's the second matchup already! Usually we want approximately two days between each matchup, but I want to make up for the waits so here it is already. Enjoy the parks and be sure to leave a comment with a vote!

What about the last matchup of round 4 then?
  • chorkiel%s's Photo
trav, that explains a lot. Thanks for clarifying my question more though.

I was half joking, as the park is obviously very themed to umbrellas. Hence the name. Don't worry, I wasn't questioning your voting at all, you're entitled to vote any way you want. I happen to think the Germans have created a very lovely park here.

And like Six Frags, i'm eager to see the last match up, can't wait to see what the Dogs and Replacements have cooked up for us...

    ^My most anticipated match, tbh.

Haven't reviewed the Kitchen's park yet. I really enjoyed this. So much fun to look around. The large and imposing archy was also perfectly composed. I enjoyed the vibrancy of the color scheme. The Umbrella Maker's house was just perfect. Another part I thoroughly enjoyed was the cloud and umbrella supports of Raincatcher(or was it Rainmaker :p ), as well as the layout itself. Overall, just a fantastic park. Well done, very well done.

The Umbrella Maker's ideas and execution are the most original things I've seen in this game since I've joined this site, and I haven't seen anything subvert RCT with such mastery since Ed's LL H2H parks.

Germans, I love you guys and I love my team, but when our park goes against my favorite H2H park of all time, it's hard not to gush.

The Classic : Maybe too much classic? The park felt boring and some things really didn't appeal. I'm sorry for being harsh.

La rêve parapluie : Wicked ideas, definately fantasy (flying trains and coasters supported by umbrella's or clouds :???: ) .The archy was real nice in places. That big building with all the glass is impressive. I did notice peeps getting stuck , while trying to leave the park.
