Excited to watch Palmwoods Springs grow. I'm still hacking out unfinished garbage myself, inspired by the talent here but realistic about my painfully slow learning curve. You're way ahead of me judging by this first screen shot and following your build might just be good for me. Good luck!

Not a bad start so far, and already looking great for your first park ever. One thing you may want to pay attention to is the color of your tree trunks; light brown may look better on the shorter tree than dark brown. It may also help to have the sidewalks match the shape of the road curves. You can do this with path blocks instead of base blocks and use 1/4 deco trims and Saxman's curved curbs for depth. While not a huge issue, the road lines are also a little chunky and could be swapped out for the 1J/Xtreme97 road line objects. Excited to see how this progresses!

It's a good road. It's a good looking road, but it's just a road. Proceed

Thanks man, I'm still trying to figure it out myself haha. I do learn a lot when I watch videos from deurklink and
    Brian Andrelczyk hacking tutorial videos.
Maybe it will help you too!

Thanks for your feedback, I'll be sure to check it out! Can I just download those custom parts and place them in the object folder?

It's also quite difficult to process curves in your park haha but I'll figure something out

Haha yes I know, started it last night so there was not much more to show.

It is still quite difficult to figure out everything with the tile inspector and how to create nice buildings and to make depth in them.

Next time I certainly hope to show more of the parking lot, the ticket booth and the entrance to the park itself.

Haha yeh I was thinking like, if you go to an amusement park the first thing you do is drive to it haha, so that's why. This upcoming weekend I'm planning to build the parking lot, ticket booth and the entrance of the park

  • Description

I'm going to make my very first park in this game. When I was little I always played this game and recently I discovered this open rct2 version! I'm still figuring out how everything works exactly. Started this project from today and made a start on the roads to the park and the locations to buy your parking ticket.

    Hope you like it!
I'm always up for any feedback
