Wow!! So dramatic! Absolutely love that

Great sense of depth here from the monorail ride down to the valley. Love that chairlift going though the rock archway too.

Great screen! I love the open space! Cramming everything with content wouldn't do the scale of the rock formations justice. Well done. Looking forward to seeing more of that coaster...

really cool vibe, i like it a lot. landscaping and foliage is really good, but could really do with tiny color pops to break up the unsaturated green and the brown... tiny flowers? not sure how feasible it is for the theme, but it would improve the look a ton imo.

if you can break up the triangle white water pieces by layering over the thin quarter tile white water, and adding some water splashes, think it would feel more organic too.

chairlift through the massive rock arch is just a really cool idea good stuff.

Really nice screen, love the coaster colors and landscaping especially. This park is really intriguing, hard to figure how all these screens are put together.

Beautiful landscape with beautiful ride interaction.

Only thing that is throwing me off is the linearity of this diagonal whitewater stream, which, from a distance, could just as easily pass for a second waterfall.

I wonder if a bit more "snake action" would give the water here a more naturalistic shape to contrast the appropriate linearity of the waterfall.

Thanks for the kind words and the good feedback guys!

@Turtle: Regarding the tiny pops of colour to break up the foliage a bit. I did indeed also think of this as I felt exactly the same. I didn't do it so far as I thought it would maybe detract from the realism a bit. However, I can experiment a bit with adding some additional colours. I am thinking maybe some dark purple lavender colour, so its still somewhat subtle. But I will see, open to other suggestions too.

@G Force: Thanks! About how it all fits together, I did actually send you a screen on discord like 2 years back which shows an early version of the layout of the red coaster, so that should at least reveal a little bit on how it all fits together!

@Terry: Great suggestion for the river! It does actually make a very similar bend right below the cut-off of the screen, but I do agree with you that currently it does look very linear on that stretch and it almost looks like a second waterfall from a distance. I will mess around with it a little and will attempt to make it look more natural!

@Everyone else. Thanks for the kind words!

I had no memory of this so I went back and looked, turns out you sent it nearly 6 years ago... :0

That definitely helped though haha, thank you.

After I posted that comment I actually checked the message and also realised it was 6 years ago. It also made me realise that this project is 7 years in the making by now. Time flies!

haha lovely, it was excellent :D

This is looking great, definitely a park going a bit under the radar for me so it's nice to see an update. Agree with Terry about making the river flow more natural and curved if you can, with the added bonus that it takes the chairlift support out of the water's path.

Awesome to see you still working on this. What percentage would you say this is finished?

  • Recurious%s's Photo
Thanks for the comments MrTycoonCoaster, Xtreme and Jappy :).

The river has now been updated to have more of a bend, I am currently at work, but I can post an update screen in this thread later!

@Jappy: regarding how finished the project is: I would say around 40-45%. The map is relatively big, it's about 200x230 or so. I have a lot of stuff in, but also some areas where I am just not really 100% sure what to do with them yet. Also one of the issues with this park is that I started it in 2018, and there are definitely some sections that are quite dated and that may need some updates or some additional polish to get them up to standard with the rest of the map, so I think that will also take some time and its one of the reasons why I would only say its about 40-45% finished.

I think it will definitely be another few years before this park is released, but I am always working on this park in the background, even if I am not always posting screens!

Very cool screen with a lot of cool stuff in it. Foliage is great and the rides seem very well implemented in their environment.

Only thing I'd advise is to make that rock-wall between the coaster and waterfall less straight.
