Beautiful Kevin. The one concern I have is that it looks like you're using the landscaping mostly as a backdrop instead of really using it in the park design which doesn't really make the best use of the 3D nature of the game. And I don't like how the coasters you show are all out in the open instead of interacting with landscaping and theming. You've achieved a remarkable level of detail given the limited nature of the games scenery options. And the themes look imaginative (I especially like the flooded palace). And that's what makes this park stand out - the detail in the architecture is really good for what RCT3 has. I wonder sometimes if when people say 'atmosphere' they really just mean 'pretty pictures', but if that's the case you certainly have plenty of those. -

damn i want rct3.
The shots from across the water are I dunno but ya. They are nice. Wow. -

Um, Kevin. I don't know how to tell you this, but that yellow coaster is going to kill people. Because the train will just go off the track.
Meaning great stuff as usual... nothing else to really critique except what Ed said. I'd like to see some terrainy jungles if possible. A nice lush rainforest with sudden drops or waterfalls (get creative) would be nice. -

Coaster Ed, to reply to your landscaping concern...your right. Landscaping is extremely important in this game. It adds a whole lot to the atmosphere and overall look of the park. I have been playing around with project RCT3. But I have restarted and it is a lot smaller. The parks current size could not be run on my computer.
I have recently been visiting the Atari forums and one RCT3 parkmaker has really caught my eye. He seems to have already mastered everything about the game. He recently released one unfinished park...but it is just amazing. It really makes you think about what Ed said about landscaping.
Screenshots from CircleVisions park, Castle Peak Islands:
This pictures makes me feel that landscapes will be one of the most important parts of a park in RCT3...

Golly damn get him over here!
That's the sort of stuff I imagine making if mass landscaping didn't completely lock up my computer whenever I tried it. -

Thats fuckin awesome. You're the only one who has been able to amaze me with RCT3 recently. Nice Job Kevin.
Were you able to do any terrain interaction with that coaster?, I can't see anywhere where it does. If so, please tell us your secrets.
*edit - Thanks Kevin. I guess it helps if read your text too, huh. I just got so caught up in those screens.... -

I wish I could tell you these secrets, Jkay but those screens were made by CircleVision. When I get that good, I'll tell you how its done. -

Please post relevant content instead of basic "wow that's great I like it" stuff ALL the frickin' time. Seriously, have you made one single post that shows some thought behind, it, because it doesn't seem like it. It's almost like you're just post count whoring.
Besides, that last screen isn't even Kevin's... -

he's able to do a bit more than landscape rct3 well.. i mean, he's fucking using insides of buildings as pure theming! i mean... i'm stunned.. -

I've been playing around with RCT3 again. I get so frusterated with it sometimes, but something about it just pulls me back. So, I did some experiments with the new features and such on smaller landscapes and now understand how to use the game in an "artistic" way.
I took out an area in this park so a lot of it is water but with that sacrifice I be adding in a lot of detail into the remaining areas until I can't anymore (damn FPS)...
Thses screens are old, but whatever. -

I'm lovin' it.
You're one of the best, if not THE best RCT3 parkmaker i've seen yet.
Keep it up. -

Looks excellent. My only complain is that those spiky hills look too artificial. Maybe change the texture or shape, or both. -

The way you've used landscaping to surround the park is very artistic in and of itself. These screens almost have me conviced to by rct3...
It's just so beautiful... Not complex, not technically mindblowing, however it flows, beautiful. Reminds me of that place where most of the Last Sameri taked place, up in some beautiful moutain pass faraway from the pains and worries of the rest of the world...

I really admire the way people can turn a game that was intended to pass hours from little schoolchildrens' life, by building endless rides into a work of art. That's what you've done here. I think it's amazing how you can have the flair and imagination to create something like this, I know that this I can never have. This game is built for certain people, and try as you may, most of us will never be able to create something as beautiful as this. You've turned this game into an art. This site has turned this game into an art. It just keeps getting better and better. Get me some bigger screens and I'd frame them on my wall.
