It really doesn't take long guys. You don't even have to fill a 50x50 bench. Just theme a ride in most cases. I mean, if you can't do that in 2 months, then you must have some problems with RCT/2.

Yeah, mine took like 3 days of solid work, and about another 3 days just touching up on it. If you can find a few weekends to do some stuff then it will probably get finished. I suppose it depends on your building technique/speed though.

Well some people have more free time than others...and like X said, different people have different building styles/speeds, whatever.

I'm not denying that. But seriously, it can't take more than a few hours work to get in an entry, and if you are slow, then maybe longer. But surely you can find a few hours in 2 months? Otherwise you would like....never play rct. I've finished 1 entry and almost finished another, yet i consider myself a very slow builder. And yes, I am also studying A levels, and have my exams in 2 weeks, so no, i don't have much time either. Anyway, if you cant build fast enough to enter, then don't moan about it on here saying "i wont have time to finish an entry by the deadline" as if implying that there is no way near enough time given. Just don't enter

I hold down a full-time job, am married, workout twice a week and run all sorts of errands, yet I still managed to finish before every single deadline in QFTBX. Now, it can be said that I build faster than the average parkmaker, but still, iris's deadlines for this contest are not that unrealistic.

Tried it but did not work... crashed my graphics driver and there was only black screen when I recorded RCT 2...

Metro makes a good point.  I'm tired of people bitching about deadlines.  I hold down a full-time job, am married, workout twice a week and run all sorts of errands, yet I still managed to finish before every single deadline in QFTBX.  Now, it can be said that I build faster than the average parkmaker, but still, iris's deadlines for this contest are not that unrealistic.

Since when did I bitch?!! I work incredibly slowly in rct, realistically I think I'm not going to be able to make deadlines. I just thought I'd apologise in advance as I said I'd enter 4-5 times. Well that certainly won't happen. No big deal, sorry I posted in the first place, just didn't want to look like a quitter again. I'm just going to try to finish off my hotel by the end of the summer, but I'll say to myself I'm not expecting to because before I've rushed stuff and it didn't work.

^what about the last PT? You got told about a week before the deadline and you filled half the map!!!

Actually Deano, my comment wasn't the slightest bit aimed at you as you were saying how you would be away for the actual PT, which is fine. It was in fact aimed at Tracid and all the others who said they wouldnt be able to finish an entry for the prelims, because that...in my opinion...is pretty poor.
