Good thing Iris posted the last two weeks last night... his compy went POOF again.

Everyone needs to chill the fuck out. Like I have any control over it...we had to send it to Gateway and they didn't fix the problem, instead they did something completely unrelated. The computer worked for about two days and then overheated and died again. You guys need to take it easy with the whiney ass replies...this shit's a lot more frustrating for me then it is for you. Steve especially has been whining almost non-stop since I've started having computer problems and honestly it's starting to piss me off. Unless you want to donate money to buy me a new computer by tomorrow shut up and let me try and get the situation resolved as soon as possible.

I'm not saying you never donated money. But I don't see how you have the right to complain about Gateway fucking up MY computer. Just doesn't make sense to me. Sure I understand that it's frustrating that these results are coming late, whatever. The day I got my computer back I spent hours looking over every entry I had missed, getting graphics from Cork and posting an update. It was a pain in the ass doing all the make-up work I had to do so I really don't appreciate you guys just bitching and moaning when I've done all that I can to rectify the situation.

Sorry about that comment. I'm more relieved now to know what actually happened and that you're making an effort to get it up as soon as you can, rather than just hearing your computer went poof and is gone for whenever.

BTW, Gateway's tech. support sucks. Last year the ventilation fan in my laptop was screwed up and the same thing happened - they sent it back and did something completely unrelated. Oh well, good luck with it.

Altho you can get a cheap Dell compy for like $300 these days, Iris.
