Thanks for the advice on the Universal passes, I figured they were a waste of money, but it's nice to have confirmation.

Corky, if you and Blitz or all three are gonna be there on Sunday, we have to set up a meeting place. As I said, I'm hoping to be there by 4:00, but I'm not sure how quickly customs, travel, check-in and all will go, so maybe it would be safer to try to get together around 5:00 somewhere (or check a spot every hour starting at 4:00 til I actually get there). I'm actually flying to Calgary tomorrow then LA on Sunday, so if there's any chance of this happening we should make arrangements tonight. If your still not sure, we can set up a meeting point and if your not there, I'll shed a tear and get on with the park.

We'll prolly be there. Question is if Ed will. Erm... I can PM you my cell # or something. Otherwise, get on AIM tonight... or I'll think of something.

I'm guessing that by that time, we'll probably be around the western part of the park, but it wouldn't be too hard to just meet right in front of the castle at whatever time.

What we can do is around 3, I'll start checking my phone more regularly, and we'll sort of coordinate. If we miss each other, just leave voice messages.

I'll get online tonight and we can talk. If I get a cel# I can call when we are ready to head to the park and you can maybe head towards the castle when you get the message. We'll talk.

What time are you expecting to be at the park on Tuesday? We prolly won't be arriving until noonish, staying most likely the rest of the day/night.

We'll be there at open. If you're there at noon, we could try to meet you sometime in the afternoon. Your choice of time and place.

ED, I think I can grab you tomorrow, we can come back down and you could crash at my place. My brother would drop us off the next day at AL's. Early.

A bit of bad news in regards to yesterday... we were not able to make contact with the all-fabled Toon. I was under the impression (altho it's possible there was miscommunication) that Toon was gonna call me when he got to the park to arrange a meeting spot, but I never got a call.

On the flip side, I think it's because his cell phone didn't work... we gave him a call twice, and the first time, it rang four times before going into the "busy" dialtone (also the unavailable dialtone). The second time, it rang four times before I got a message that said "This subscriber is not taking any calls at this time."

So I'm thinking he wasn't getting service here in the States, which explains why he couldn't contact us. Hopefully, Toon, if you read this, you didn't waste a lot of time waiting for us yesterday.

Brent, when you see him tomorrow (Tuesday, right?), tell him, Ed, Blitz (Chris) and I (Albert) said hi, and sorry we missed him.


Bummer #2 was that they cancelled the fireworks show due to "high winds." Second night in a row apparently, according to a lady I talked to who was there on Saturday night too.

That's what I was thinking, actually, but there may have been other problems or something. Or maybe customs took forever (after all, it WAS the shithole known as LAX) and they were too tired to come. *shrug*

12 hours til hopefully everything goes smoothly and we meet up with Mike and the gang... chargin the video cam right now, as i've yet to really use it and dl would be a good place I thought. Will surely get pix and say hi/sorry for ya'll.

If you check into NE before you leave... be sure to go to Toon Town. Then go to that building that has the "mailboxes" for the toons. It's basically that isolated structure by the gag buildings. Pull on Jessica Rabbit's for a few times. Then try one of Roger's. Get the right combination and it's quite spontaneously hilarious.

Will do... did that a couple times ago but not like that, just random pulls of each mailbox. Usually don't hit Toon as it's too far back and we get lazy, lol. But yeah, def. try that out... and get it on vid, lol.
