Buckeye Becky Offline
If anyone is interested, I have a public group at ESPN.com Baseball Challenge called Becky's Buckeyes.
You get $50 mil and you can change players every day...so it doesn't work like fantasy with the initial draft and everything....much easier -

WSL, shut up. Becky's been around a lot longer than you have. Post count doesn't mean shit at this site. Becky mainly posts at RCT2.com, which is why she doesn't have much here. -

Becky is contest coordinator for RCT2.com. She helps run the Fusion website along with AP. Buckeye Becky is definitely not a noob. Heck, why don't you call Nevis a noob because he's only got fifty posts? Mala's only got like thirty. Do you think that either one of them is a noob?http://www.funnypicturesandcartoons.com/?open=Forum%2Fn00b/noob_look.jpg

And that's about the ONLY time that I'll ever be glad A-Rod got the game-winning hit at Angels Stadium.
That out though... when the dude ran home from 3rd and scored, but then they took it off. I hate how ESPN showed the runner at the base, and the catch at the same time after in replays. Like, the first time they showed it he totally went at least a second before the catch, and it was obvious. Second time it looked like the dude had his timing down perfect, and they still called him out (the japanese dude, of course, for those who didn't see it). The controller of the vid can totally manipulate it to look like the guy was either safe or out, and this was definately the case here.
Any of that make sense? -

HOLY SHIT DID WE GET LUCKY. AGAIN.
Seriously though, that was gone. I'm not Mexican, thank God, but the score seriously should be 1-0 Mexico right now. -

WTF we did horrible. The bats were non-existent. Rocket always seems to get no backup from the bats. -

Yeah overall it was pretty dissapointing. They did shit when it came to runs. The only ones who seemed to actually try were Griffey and Chipper. -

Japan for the win!
Pretty nice game, lots of offense at the end, bats really lit up. Otsuke did great closing out that game, hopefully does well for the Rangers this year. -

Tickets can ONLY be purchased on the day of game at the Angels Stadium Box Office during regular business hours and prior to game time. Tickets available while quantities last. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer.
YES! This was seriously the only time we (Allison and I) went to the games last year, so great. Never sat in the seats we bought... always got there early and stayed low for BP then moved to better seats after the third when they stop checking tickets, lol. Can't wait... there's 12 Tuesday games this year, which is pretty good. $72 total for the tickets.
Teams are pretty decent with Texas twice, Detroit, Oakland twice (always a great one), Toronto, Minnesota, Kansas City, Colorado, Cleveland, Baltimore, and Chicago. Also going to one or two of the Dodger games they have (one at both Dodger Stadium and Angel Stadium) Wanna also go to the Padres game they have at home in mid-June.
Should be a really fun year. -

Meanwhile, the Red Sox are sold out for the entire year and the only way to get tickets is to go through a ticket broker and get bleacher seats a mile away for $60.YES! Yeah that must suck for a lot of fans... the Angels have had the total of sold out games go up year after year since they won the World Series (not much, maybe around 25 or so I think I heard) but still, Tuesday's rarely sell out so it's a really good promo to get a lot of locals (ie college kids who can still buy them) into the park and fill seats that usually wouldn't be sat on a Tuesday. -

That would be I.
And the Angels are fuckin up. But Salmon hit his second homer in as many days... schweet. -

I have a ticket for June 6th at the new Busch Stadium nearly behind the Cardinal's dugout. Part of my birthday present, $80 for it.
Oh yeah, our double play duo in Eckstein and Miles is really short....
