Okay, so um, yeah... Chris Shelton is definitely a monster. Geez, what a week so far! .700 batting average, 5 HR, 9 RBI, 2 doubles, 2 triples. :OMG:

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Angels come from behind victory in the 9th against Texas!!! Glad I don't have Francisco Cordero... I think...

That was an awesome game. We went and sat in section 412, row E and it was perfect (third base side, second to highest level, right above the Angels dugout). That ending was just so weird... EVERYONE around us were screaming GO HOME when he stopped, then kept going and yeah... prolly the best game-ending I've ever attended.

Dude. 3 homeruns, back-to-back-to-back on 3 pitches! Eric Chavez, Frank Thomas (to tie), Milton Bradley (to take the lead). That was fun to watch. :)

Astros starting off well, hopefully we wont have to play catchup like last year

^ well, yeah. I'd be extremely disappointed if Pujols was on juice, since he's one of my favorite players.

Also, I'd like to say that I <3 Jon Papelbon.

Hey guess what? Carpenter's at it again...

And yup, Pujols is amazing and worth every peny we throw at him.

Just once I wish the Angels could sweep a team they should beat. Lost to the Tigers tonight. :( I'll settle for winning the series tomorrow though.

Lidge blew another save again, which ain't good for my fantasy teams. Dodgers lost anyway after coming back against Brad for the second time in two nights.

Barry hit another one. One step closer to one of the biggest arguments we'll ever have in baseball.

    Astros goin to work.
  • Corkscrewed%s's Photo
    Bonds hit 715.

    Anyone care?
  • penguinBOB%s's Photo
nah. i'm tired of hearing about him.

DAMMIT WHAT IS UP WITH THE ANGELS LOSING ALL THESE CLOSE LOW SCORING GAMES?????? :( :(
  • Jellybones%s's Photo
I had a dream last night that me and Jonathan Papelbon were buddies and hung out in Boston.
  • penguinBOB%s's Photo

I think its crazy how there is absolutely crap baseball everywhere in the west this year. The Angels, in my opinion, are going to win the AL West. I cant see them staying silent at the trade deadline. Oakland will be getting back Rich Harden, so I think it will be the Angels and A's race and my team (the M's) and the Rangers will fade.

I think its pretty obvious what division is the best team in baseball. Its weird because usually is the East and West thats the powerhouses. I still cant believe what Detriot is doing..seeing their history. For some reason I do think that the White Sox will win the division. All around I just think they have a more solid team.

As for the east, well lets just say I think there will be a new Yanks manager next year. :)

Edit: Sorry I forgot the NL. The Mets are good. Everyone else sucks.

Dodgers are good. They'd be a damn lot better if Garciaparra could be cloned 3 times and named their 2b, ss, and 3b though.
  • SupremeScreamer%s's Photo
I wouldn't say the Dodgers are good. They are just apart of the weakest division in baseball. They went 2-10 against the American League (in June) in interleague play and are currently in the celler of their division.

(I know its a tight race but...) Being the last place team in the worst division, I would not say they are a good team.
