Yah, Kumba, you kinda failed to mention in your "staff shake up" that some mods would also be losing their powers. Perhaps some justification, or a mere mention that I (and jellybones) wouldn't me mods anymore wouldn't have gone a miss?

about submission; it should first be made clear that people can submit either designs or solo parks according to ne's four release categories (ru, sru, spot, design), with the minimum map sizes for each of those.
also might want to add that rct2 parks must have scenery imported and must not require any of the expansion packs.

yeah, you're right, some new better guidelines are in need.

personally, i say allow all expansions.
if people don't have them, they just can't look at the park. resulting in worse views for the parkmaker. so people will stick to the original.

That is legit. I've updated the Contact page accordingly.

Have the ne awards taken place this year? I can’t remember it happening or find any topics about it (and the last topic in the awards forum was last posted in over a year ago).
So I guess that’s something that needs to be done soon.

I know this is kinda OFF TOPIC, but is there going to be any change with NE Awards?...it may be a tiny and not very important detail compared with what you have been discussing on the last posts, but I think it would be good to keep that aspect in mind. Just a thought...

I don't know, this was never answered.

I have not forgot about that, just it's been such a slow year we barely have anything to put up.

Right now I think we will just wait till after H2H4 and have them togeter like last season.

Slow Year!? The PT2 (including some of the prelims too, I think) took place after the last awards and now H2H too. There have been at least 3 spotlights, some great designs and runner-ups, and other miscellaneous things (like best new scenery, i.e. Toon's Supports ).

I admit that this hasn't been the greatest year in terms of full-sized solos, but that doesn't affect the majority of the awards (Best wooden coaster etc. Parkmaker of the year, Rookie of the year…). Some of the best work the game's known has been produced this year. But I don't see having them with the H2H awards as a bad idea at all.

I've been wondering whatever happened to that Top 100 Rides Ever list that iris made noise about a few months ago. For some reason the topic was deleted and it was forgotten but I thought it was pretty cool. Maybe that could be restarted?

Also, will there be another Blaze Battle? I love watching those.
