nooooooo. not more contests.
i like them yes but it leaves no time for people to do their own thing. i blame the lack of solos almost entirely on contest.

Also u try and organise a project like the Revolution project 3 at a time when H2H is going on. its impossible.

contests are integral to the site. but so are parks......

Web space won't be a problem once Kumba takes over full financial control and we can switch hosting.

I can think of a few things that need to be fixed, I guess these should be on the list too.

(I’m assuming that these are problems with the site and not just my browser etc.)
-The icons in the reply form are missing, (the ones you click for bold font and so on) I just get the alt text.
(It would also be nice if the contact info 'card' image was red with a grey background to match the other ones)
-The ‘forum/profile/topic options’ menu in the top right-hand corner only works with the default IPB skin and not the ne one.
-The walkthrough page is all screwed up. It has the navigation as normal, and then it says 'logged in as corkscrewed', has the page content, then all of the navigation etc again.

Hopefully these can be fixed when you get your ftp working again .

Im not sure whats up with the forum errors, but we got access to all the contrals and maybe can look into these things, tho imo they don't sound that bad, just a little annoying.

I never noticed that problem on the walkthrough page, but that can't be fixed till the staff has FTP access.

I don't know where iris is, I have been unable to contact him since the 14th, but we need to know why no-body can do anything with the site, till then no updates

A search link on the forum index could be nice to .

I have two more suggestions.

1) For the subforums/topics that have a lot of pages, you should make a link or something where you click on the total number of pages and type in the page number you want to go to. I've seen it here and on other forums before, but it isn't working right now.

2) "The Rest" subforum should have a use or be cleaned out/deleted IMO

The only way that new RCT2 people are going to get any sense about the history of this place is through accidentally clicking on links to old LL parks, which is argument enough for keeping the games together.

I was thinking, best way to improve NE apart from content. After h2h definetly cut contests, let people get on with their solos. We need the advertising district back to the way it used to be. Very active.

I agree too it just seems like its been contest after contest leaving people with no time to work on solo work, which is the most important part of this site

There will be a gap, don't worry about that. Maybe the next offical contest in... say, March or April, Hows that sound?
